As a kid I came across the saying a dog is a man's best friend many times and I have been one of the blessed ones to feel this first hand. Back in 2021 was traveling for a family get together in North part of India , took a refreshment break and while re-boarding the vehicle our pet "Roxy' started barking at something under the car , stepped down to see a small puppy trying to hide from other pack of strays attacking the fella. Chased the strays to a distance and tried to console the puppy but bro wasn't letting go of me . Contrary to advice of relatives then & there that day I ended up adopting another stray (2nd for family) but 1st personally for me , the way this dude looked at me felt as if something broken was fixed ....the pup had a big face like a boxing glove so I named him Boxy (Off course Bro to Roxy) . I was about to bring it with me back to other city but my father liked him so much he ended up asking me to leave the puppy with him and also as a company to Roxy . That was 2021. Since then every year maybe once or more whenever I go back hometown I get to meet two of the most excited dudes on the planet . Both the Indian stray and foreign breed have turned out to be brothers in arms well raised , well trained , vaccinated and the best therapy for the entire family . The time spent with them cannot be expressed in words here.......it's a bond with a lot of learning , a lot of emotions and a trust only few get to feel and live like a blessing . Whenever I meet them now too the first few minutes are all affection followed by full time guard mode on 24 X 7 till I am there and the day of departure is full of melodrama !! To even think that some human would torture them , beat them , abuse them and burn them alive feels like starting a purge . The eyes of Wang Wang and her kids remind me of my Boxy in Pup form...so much. At times ! I wish I could just cue and unleash both of my trained bros at those bastards to teach them how primal instincts work when you mess with one's family. Since we have been writing about WANG WANG , we are getting flagged & reported but I wanted to tell you so you understand why this feels close to home and so personal everyday. THUS , DEAR CHINESE GOV & THEIR ONLINE BOTS DOGS !! KEEP COMPLAINING !!
