It’s time! It’s time to make some adjustments. You’re walking too many batters. You find yourself deep into counts too often. You’re constantly having to pitch under stress.
This is a YOU issue. There’s either some holes in your preparation. Your approach, or lack of approach, needed some adjustments. Maybe even your understanding of the role is skewed.
Our job starts with throwing strikes. From there we could go down many paths but if you want to make your job easier and have your team spending more time in the dugout than on the field, let’s get better at commanding the baseball and the strike zone. Limit those free bases as much as possible.
