the world truly is your o̶y̶s̶t̶e̶r̶ zen garden hadn't touched my portfolio in 3 years then i saw @_borombo ship 5 apps in 20min i thought fable was ending july 12 so i grabbed @paper and @claudeai and started building this concept

@uxbykai I think we have too narrow a definition of scale. Sure, an app's growth might not scale, but the growth you get from building it does. The time and energy we put into supporting each other does. So, I'd say Design Garden scales the growth of those who sprint together! Success!

My scuba diving app and I made it to Business Insider. I'm still trying to process this sentence. 2020. Stuck in Bali. Just lost my job as a scuba instructor. No plan. No income. No idea what was next. I opened a laptop and typed "how to learn to code" for the first time. I didn't know what a terminal was. I spent 3 hours on a command that should've taken 30 seconds. I called a developer friend crying saying I didn't understand anything. I kept going anyway because I had an idea for a scuba app and I wanted to build it myself. Got my first dev job. Got fired. My mentor told me I'd never make it to Junior 2. He was right. I didn't make it to Junior 2. I built 4 saas and 3 apps. I made it to Business Insider

as a 6yo, I rmbr walking around with my parents looking for furniture people had thrown out. we basically furnished our entire home that way lol ~ annoyingly one couch we took led to a multi-year cockroach infestation 🪳 remembering that really makes me so grateful to do what I’m doing now
