@imlatetoaihelp @oelma__ If you want to be pedantic, there were many sports involving sticks and balls. shinty in Scotland is a good example. However, Hockey as a sport with that name started in Montreal on ice in the 1800s. Their inspiration however was not European however. It’s was indigenous
