@m_schouten @DarwinexZero What's the alternative? CVaR still assumes a distribution. Scenario analysis is backward looking. The standardized VaR target ensures every Darwin enters a crisis with comparable leverage. That's more protective than letting managers run unconstrained because VaR is flawed.

@DarwinexZero VaR is fine until the distribution lies. 6.5% monthly assumes normal days. The months that matter are the ones where correlation goes to 1 and the engine sees a regime it never sampled.

VaR estimates the worst loss you should expect on a normal day/month at a chosen confidence level. The Darwinex Zero Risk Engine targets 6.5% monthly VaR for every DARWIN, the same volatility profile as the S&P 500.

seems like everyone caught the bottom and knew the market will rip non stop for 2 weeks I caught the bottom too, via DCA but, let's be honest, nobody expected new ATH this fast

@MTradingX I think last year's numbers were about 350 mil if you trust their numbers. They just came back to the U.S. not that long ago so it is possible to have that much growth. How do you know that their sales have slowed or are you just assuming?

Okay is it just me or those numbers do not make any sense? That meant they must of pulled 46 -50 million in rev and that means their yearly revenue will come to 550 - 575 million?? Given their sales have slowed down? Math is not mathing. FTMO would you be so kind to go on PFM and verify those payout numbers please?

The loudest traders usually have the shortest track records (or none/deleted). A verified, audit-grade track record is the harshest filter in the industry. It strips away the ego, the excuses, and the marketing. But once your edge is mathematically proven over a statistically significant sample size, you never have to sell yourself again. The data does the talking.

Are you focused on the right metrics, or are you just staring at your PnL? Trading isn't a lottery ticket; it is a complex skill that must be acquired, measured, and refined over time. Stop treating the markets like a hobby and start auditing your execution like a professional asset manager.

There’s a new firm called Tenacity Trading and it’s like nothing you have ever seen before This firm runs like a poker tournament so they can NEVER go down Don’t scroll past this because this firm might blow up lol Basically this firm has: No evals (direct to simfunded only) No consistency rules No daily loss limits No profit targets Static drawdown (no trailing EOD or intraday) But here’s the interesting part If you make $2,000 you get moved to a live account which is the fastest path to live in the industry Basically 20% of the account Tenacity takes for an operational cost (No other firm ever tells you how much they make so quite interesting they say this) And then the other 80% goes into a transparent pool where they will publicly show it on their website and they show how much the traders make everyday When you meet the minimum days for payout you can opt out of the sim funded competition to take all that money (above $2,000) to your live account which will be YOUR money If you hit 2,000 it doesn’t mean you have to opt out you could technically keep going But here’s where it gets better You can still buy the sim accounts EVEN while on a live account which no other firm lets you do Also their platform uses rithmic data, tradingview charts, and has a feature where it automatically records your trade EVERYTIME you click buy and sell @TenacityTr

@TradersConf this is why you don't trade with "family" money. they didn't invest in a strategy, they gambled on a person. tell them immediately. the longer you hide the loss, the more you destroy the relationship.

Girlfriends family heard I was doing well in trading so her dad and uncle gave me $20k each to trade with. Went from $40k total to $67k total in a few months so they invested another $20k each. Now I’m down to $6k total after a few bad months. Haven’t told them I’ve lost their money yet, what should I do?

@StoicTA 14 indicators are a distraction from the truth. price only moves when someone is forced to close. find the trap and you find the trend. keep it simple or the market will make it complex for you.

trapped trader tells you more than any indicator when a trader is trapped in the wrong direction, they will be forced out that forced exit creates the mov. you don't need 14 indicators, 10 entry models, new language... all you need is to understand who is holding the wrong position the market is emotional behavior read the human behaviour, not price
