Big news for @conductor_build! We've raised a $22m Series A from Spark and Matrix. We raised this round from @ilyasu at Matrix, who also led our seed round and is joining our board, @nabeel at Spark, @ycombinator, and founders of Notion and Linear. We're grateful to be working with investors we trust and admire. Here’s how we got here and where we’re going:

My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces): I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept): Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow

Hi twitter friends, I’m joining @OpenAI to work on applied evals! A few years ago my day job was studying microbes Somehow this feels like a natural progression 😄

@hellokillian @vicdotso Just fixed my stupid folders and the bro did everything smoothly. After a long time some product has genuinely solved a problem I avoided for years. Thanks

@FieroTy honestly think the difference with 4.6 is placebo effect for most people

I really really wanted Opus 4.6 to be better. It makes the same devastating spaghetti code mistakes that 4.5 does. I can't trust this model with anything more than '✨ Make this page pretty 🎨' OpenAI cooked with gpt-5.3 codex...

Today I'm launching Interpreter. It's a desktop agent that can fill PDFs, edit your Excel and Word docs, and learn new skills. Runs offline, works with any model, and it's free.

I just realized - you can also tell Claude to 'pbcopy' information when done so you don’t have to manually copy text. - ask Claude to always set run_in_background to true when running subagents to dramatically reduce rendering flicker
Ado@adocomplete

Advent of Claude Day 1 - The ! Prefix Don't waste tokens asking "can you run git status or tests?" Just type: ! followed by your bash command The ! prefix executes bash instantly and injects the output into context. No model processing. No delay. No wasted tokens.

Great write up, chuckled a few times. This alongside leerob and Mitchell Hashimoto's vibe coding posts really drives home: engineering practices + domain knowledge = dramatically better agent output in large codebases. These tools are genuinely powerful when you meet them halfway. Worth asking yourself: Is this code just for me? User-facing? What error margin is acceptable? Is someone else reading this?

Weekend thoughts on Gas Town, Beads, slop AI browsers, and AI-generated PRs flooding overwhelmed maintainers. I don't think we're ready for our new powers we're wielding. lucumr.pocoo.org/2026/1/18/agen…

the only thing keeping me from trying opencode a lot more is claude code's magical AskUserQuestion tool. I'd love if plugins could change the ui based on the model's ouput. ( draft pr in thread )

i wanted a better "human in the loop" flow for opencode such that i could easily make edits to proposed changes before/as they're suggested. so i made it
