Indiehackers are advised to build for validated markets. Yet here I'm, trying to create one for my app. Let's see how it goes. 🚀 Introducing TimeLine COW! Your life is an incredible story. But right now, the chapters are scattered across fading memories & old photos. With TimeLine COW, you can build a visual map of your life in one place. The app is ready to welcome its early adopters. It's free to use with optional paid features. Link in the reply.

Do you know any solo founders here? Please suggest — or if you are one, please say hi.

White noise helps my baby fall asleep quickly and sleep longer. Deployed an app for that as I wasn't satisfied with the free apps out there. More on this later. First time used Cloudflare workers (or should I say pages) for this. The DX was seamless.

Shipped a major overhaul to the dashboard based on user feedback. Before the users have to traverse multiple pages to create an event. Now, all happens on the same page. Greatly improves the UX.

This post is about a traumatizing experience we had with our new born last night. Around 12AM our baby started crying. Usually it's due to hunger, gas build up or for diaper change. We fed her and changed the diaper. We couldn't get her to burp though. Still the cry didn't stop. Whenever this happens, I hold her close to my chest and rock her for 5 minutes to make her sleep. This time around it's different, she didn't stop. Her crying was inconsolable. Her whole body became red from the crying. 12 became 1 and 1 became 2, we couldn't make her stop crying. We noticed her stomach was hard and bloated. We didn't know what to do. You can imagine the distress this could cause us as it's all new to us. I asked 3 LLMs and Google. All of them suggested this over the counter simetheoin syrup. I was still a little hesitant to try it as our baby is only 18 days old. A Reddit post reassured me that it's safe to give that syrup to newborns for gas related issues. At 3 in the night, I couldn't find any open pharmacies on Google maps. My wife had @letsblinkit installed. It was like they anticipated the demand for these drugs late at night and had it in stock. It was delivered in 9 mins. 20 mins after having that syrup our baby finally started sleeping. Grateful to have access to these 24 X 7 10 minute delivery services. Blinkit saved our day!

i really miss my mouse middle click for closing things when i'm using a laptop without a mouse so i made a BetterTouchTool automation so that shift + tap with 2 fingers = middle click works great

Some sad news: My mom passed suddenly last night. I saw this post the other day & thought "that's me" but that opportunity is closed now, sooner than I imagined. But that won't stop me. As a founder, we take life on life's terms. We keep coding, keep shipping, keep showing up. If you're out there building through your own issues, know this: endure. Turn the pain into progress.

It's become disgustingly obvious. After talking to loads of $10K-$100K MRR iOS app developers and dissecting their businesses... I'm very confident that successful mobile apps come down to: 1. great onboarding 2. that leads to some sort of hard paywall 3. with the balls to not offer a free plan ofc you need solid product and distribution to get those users in the door but, the customer and the money is mostly made right after install.

It's crazy how much you can save on domains by switching to an at-cost registrar. I had to renew a .org domain on BigRock. I moved it to Cloudflare and paid 36% less for the renewal.

Despite fighting sleep deprivation as a new dad, managed to ship the revamped timeline today! It's not easy taking care of a baby. Thought I'd be out for at least 2 months.

Hey @marclou @DataFast_ I will try my luck here after trying the chat support and the bug report platform (I'm not complaining here, I'm sure you are really busy working on this product). But maybe more users have this issue, So I try this channel also. I have three websites connected to the DataFast platform I use the same Stripe account for all of them, Each product has its own implementation of Stripe checkout, That should not matter so much, I think. The main issue I have is that all the sales from Stripe are affecting all the products in DataFast, and this is really messing up my data. I can't understand anything at this point. Until today, I have had two products that worked with Stripe link, and on the support channel, I was told that this is because of that. I am not sure why it should affect anything, but anyway, the third product uses checkout sessions generated on the server side and has no sales yet, yet I see the sales on the dashboard. I think filtering the sales from Stripe based on the Product is a must at this point 😅 Maybe I am doing something wrong here, or most users have only 1 product or split stripe accounts, I don't know. But I will be glad to get some feedback about it, and if it will be fixed in the near future. I can offer my coding skills (for free of course) if you would like to implement that on DataFast. (15+ years of experience and working super fast you will have the PR today 😂) I built myself a key management system where I do just that. Getting the items from the checkout session, finding the relevant product from the Stripe data, and connecting it to the local product model. Anyway thank you and hope I will be able to use DataFast easily again 😄

Wow @coolifyio is a powerhouse! Moved superblog dashboard from caprover to coolify. Absolutely worth it! Pros: + 2FA available in open source + setup (just run a script) + install apps with direct github integration + easy to add more servers + ui for server updates + quick terminal access + @heyandras is super active on X Cons: - poor ux (domain connection need massive overhaul)
