@LDKTrading Okay, but it seems to me that a lot of the toppers (gold and silver) are algo trading or at least a mix of it. Is that true ?

@victorrgold I was using another strategy from the beginning to april and sometimes I took also some swing trades. But now my goal is to have algo portoflio so I coded my strategy to use it as an EA and add another one to reduce risk. I plan to add 2 more but I have some tests to do before

No R2F trades yesterday. But the good news comes from darwinex zero. I reached all the criterias to be eligible to GOLD. That's a big achievement for me. Now the objective is to maintain the performance till the end of the month.

The recovery maths is not linear. Most traders learn it too late. Lose 20% and you need 25% to get back to flat. Lose 50% and you need 100%. The hole gets steeper the deeper you dig, because each loss shrinks the base the next gain has to work on. Position sizing is not caution for its own sake. It keeps the drawdown shallow enough that recovery stays realistic. Protect the base first.

The last thing you want to do as a trader is predict markets. It's the #1 trap for new traders, and a constant battle for experienced ones. Your ego demands to be right about the future. The market doesn't care.

Yea you are a great guy & those harsh moments made you into who you are today. Sometimes you sound like you did grow up with everything haha (Educated aspect) - i grew up with everything But my parents were extremely poor. My dad took baths with cold buckets , no lights in the house and had to walk for hours to sell the vegetables he grew with his family at age 10. And they sent me to private schools but never gave me more than €5 in Montenegro (sometimes only €2 haha) and no more than a 20 in NYC. Even when I was 21 , I only had 10-20$ in my pocket. Not trying to sound like “omg poor me” but being around wealthy folks with just $20 felt like I was “struggling” haha missed out on quite a lot of experiences. This small thing they did for years did make me see the world differently & im grateful for it. Im not a total snob like some of my boys haha

I have a childhood friend who grew up in one of the poorest villages in Montenegro - moved to New York 2017 alone. All alone. He was always a quiet kid and never asked for help. Found the job. Alone. Worked and minded his own business pursuing his dream. Fast forward 9yrs - he manages a 100unit building in Brooklyn. Owns 2 homes in Pennsylvania. And makes around 250k a Year. Sends his parents money every month. He made it. And Elons Networth didnt stop him haha But then! I have a cousin. Born & Raised in NYC Fordham University graduate. Is a barista … - and shares a tiny apartment with a bunch of liberals & gays complaining about “capitalism” because they deep down know… Its all their fault for failing. - no excuses man. Strive for Greatness. Dont bitch.

@victorrgold The construction of hypothetical scenarios to (at least quasi-rigorously) work through the consequences of ideas is the essence of science fiction as a genre, the core of what makes it distinct from other types of story.

I think science fiction is a good way to explore philosophical questions, because it allows you to construct hypothetical scenarios that make those questions more concrete.
