Just came back from the Indie Hacking Retreat by @at_altspace and I feel recharged.
One week of talking to bootstrapped founders, indie hackers, and people building real businesses.
Some were already doing great MRR.
Some were just starting out.
But almost everyone had the same energy: build, learn, sell, repeat.
Loved the whole experience.

@aliByteCode Very true! Important to engage with potential users to get feedback. AI can help but important to get onto the platforms and engage with them directly.

@MartinTale Good point made Martin! Many builders code nonstop as they are obsessed with their ideas and want to be live as early as possible. But health should be a priority.

No-app angle is actually the smart bet here. Most productivity tools die because people don't want another thing to check.

founders! looking to vibe code TopTaskAI. WhatsApp AI that tells you your top 3 priorities each morning based on your goals, tracks planned vs. actual every evening, no app required. Targeting productivity-tool fatigue sufferers. Would love to hear feedback.

@marclou is there a way to test them before such emails are sent out in mass?

@TTrimoreau focus. unfortunately speed not on my side as I have a 9-5 job

I'm a vibe coder. Not a full level developer. Neither am a marketer. Should I look for cofounders for both building and selling? Vibe coding can build the product but would it have the necessary security and other guardrails needed? also would it be a challenge to fix bugs once live without a developer cofounder?

I talked to a vibecoder today
We met on Reddit, where he posts
He is a vibecoder using Claude and Cursor
He vibecoded 15 apps in the past 3-4 months
And he says he had exactly $0 sales for most of them
The problem isn't the functionality now
Because AI builds the apps ok
But marketing and focus
He needs focus
1 app

@Adidotdev It's good that those ideas are taken. It validates the idea. You just have to find your unfair advantage with the same idea

Vibe coding has been a thing for over a year.
My friends built:
- Fitness apps
- Marketing tools
- Casual games
- Dashboards
All shipped to TestFlight or GitHub.
Now try this: name one vibe-coded app you actually use.
Not tried. Actually use.
I can't name one. Zero.
They built. They kept adding features.
They never figured out who it was for.
We have more apps than ever.
Fewer users per app than ever.
Vibe coding didn't create a software boom.
It created a software graveyard.

@AKirtesh Vibe coder. Crazy how this has changed the game. Still need to figure out how to get good designs. The designs suck with vibe coding
