@batuhan @uwukko @schlizzawg vertical tabs implementation needs some work
but it's my default browser, love it
English

@batuhan @uwukko @schlizzawg I love it, but I've been having trouble playing DRM-protected content with Helium. Do you know how to fix this?
English

@USA_Polling @PressSec @WhiteHouse To be fair, it looks like the spent a solid fifteen minutes making this app
English

@PressSec @WhiteHouse Y'all are spending more time making an app than catching the pedophiles in your government

@stolinski Safari has the best sidebar experience; @VivaldiBrowser the 2nd
English

@0xnocode @toolfolio If you don't see the need to vertical tabs, it just means you never have too many tabs open. I have like fifty tabs open right now across a few groups, and it's impossible to manage those tabs horizontally as they're so small. Much easier to manage them vertically.

@albrorithm @SapphoSys @uwukko @schlizzawg I love Zen, but after getting used to the Chromium smoothness through Helium, Firefox-based browsers just feel janky as hell even with all the extra polish
English

@SapphoSys @uwukko @schlizzawg Zen has ruined any form of horizontal bar for me. Same with a persistent vertical bar
English

switched to helium from edge and it's so compact and cozy.
shoutout @uwukko and @schlizzawg fr

@ac_alejos @mitchellh I agree, branding really matters! Key example here, I personally think Kitty has one of the ugliest logos of all time lmao
English

@viis_dev @mitchellh I think it's a perfectly valid reason to like something. The logo was the first thing that caught my attention
English

@ac_alejos @mitchellh I’ll be completely honest and say the name and Boo mascot are 90% of the reason I started using it way back when.
Came for the aesthetic taste, stayed for the best terminal emulator in the game
English

@mitchellh I’m curious how much of the success of Ghostty you attribute to the awesome name?
English

@RealToasterBoi @uwukko I have absolutely no issues with it, and I’ve been using it for over a year now. I love that you can customize the order of search results to show sites you trust at the top

@JoelImodu @VadimYuryev For real, it looks like a shitty plastic $500 Acer laptop

$4,399 M5 Max 16” MacBook Pro vs $11,238 Dell Pro Max 18 Plus is now in progress!

Vadim Yuryev@VadimYuryev
Just finished filming the most ambitious MacBook performance comparison we've ever done! M1 Max vs M2 Max vs M3 Max vs M4 Max vs M5 Max Ran pretty much every test that we usually run, with charts for each one. This will act as a reference for the next year or so. Stay tuned!

@ryanvogel We can’t even use proper punctuation these days without being called out 🤦♀️
English

@UltraLinx @Minimaldex Wait…what??! He already bought your expensive wall pack and you want also a credit??!🤯
English

@bengold @jeremiahjw Yea in that case, I think M5 Pro with as much RAM as you can afford would be perfect 👌
English

@viis_dev @jeremiahjw I was mainly thinking about it only to run local models. This is my work computer at my new job so I won’t be gaming on it. I’ll probably just go with M5 pro.
English

@bengold @jeremiahjw Chances are very, very low that you need M5 Max unless you plan to game on it seriously. It’s ludicrous. I have an M4 Pro and have never once seen the little rainbow loading spinner
English

@jeremiahjw Yeah I’m definitely gonna get as much as my budget allows, I just can’t tell if I actually need an M5 Max or not. I feel like I don’t.

@RiverNotFlowing @Risengan_ @charliedeets @diabrowser Agentic browsing is one of the dumbest concepts ever conceived
English

@Risengan_ @charliedeets @diabrowser What you asked is some random nice to have thing, exactly the kind of non features that they used to focus on with Arc. Can't believe you think (headless) agentic browing is unimpressive and instead ask for some focus mode.
English

Last week, we shipped a new @diabrowser update to friends and family.
This update is a step change in functionality for Dia and we couldn’t be more excited to see what you make.
You can join the beta today by entering ‘deetsman315’ into a new tab.

If I can do 16k LOC per day across 3 different projects (including one open source one you can see yourself) then I think almost any technical CEO CTO pair at YC will
That's the bar now
Yuri Sagalov@yuris
The latest YC batch made me update my priors on build speed. YC batches are a quarterly snapshot of what technology makes possible, and it's clear something materially changed over the last 3-4 months. W26 teams are shipping _much_ faster than F25 and prior.

I hate tmux
It's so incredibly user unfriendly
The shortcuts make no sense
I wish someone would make a better tmux
Even just logging into tmux attaching the screen is an illogical hell to type
Again I hate tmux, it's so shit
Matthieu Richard@SpaceMatthieu
@levelsio Is there a good way to jump between tmux sessions on Termius? I find it quite hard to manage multiple codex/claude sessions on the go
