They could learn from the lounge at Chennai airport - fresh, well made food, infinite variety of food, desserts and drinks including spiced buttermilk and replenished with amazing efficiency. Sure, its a smaller lounge compared to Hyd, but back end should be adjusted accdg to customer tread.

#Encalm lounge at Hyd - unbelievably mediocre food - tasteless, badly made and poor variety. Leather like parathas, overfried podi masala bonda , ghastly veg korma , horrendous paneer masala in bright orange gravy …. no sandwiches …. Only thing worth eating was curd rice !

@Nithya_Shrii We read everything and anything indiscrminately & voraciously - everybody had a lending library membership. In Chennai , best lending library was dear old Eloor in T nagar. Simply the best place to also bring a kid every 2 weeks and take back a stack of books n comics to read.

Look at these bottles. These are not engine oil. They are cooking oil seized from a very famous burger chain, McDonald's. 40 liters of oil reused again and again. Rotten tomatoes. 650 kg of adulterated paneer destroyed. This is what was found behind a counter people trust. We assume a big brand means a clean kitchen. We feed it to our kids believing someone has checked everything. No one is coming to protect your health. Big brands can fool people with strong marketing, and incidents like this show that clearly. Don’t blindly trust anything that impacts your health. Verify if you can. Switch to things you really trust. FSSAI gives licenses to anyone. I know brands that work out of their homes as their official address, which means the license was giving on a residential address. License is not a guarantee. Awareness is not optional anymore.

Listening to a dog in the neighborhood barking everyday from 10- 6 because he’s all alone when his mom goes to work made me think that perhaps , corporates could think of creches for pets at office too. #lonelydogs

Indian women (mostly Hindus) should not be made to dance for visiting foreign dignitaries. No other country does this. It is a colonial-era, outdated practice that demeans women and reduces culture to mere entertainment. Enough. Respect their dignity. Do Western nations put on dance shows performed by their women?
