Primeminister of India, Narendra Modi, would not take my question, I was not expecting him to. Norway has the number one spot on the World Press Freedom Index, India is at 157th, competing with Palestine, Emirates & Cuba. It is our job to question the powers we cooperate with.

I used to wonder how most Indians (on social media) could side with the oppressors instead of the oppressed. I realized that the answer lies in their caste based society. From a young age, they grow up accepting upper caste individuals as bullies. This bullying is legitimized and normalized to the point that it becomes woven into their religious and social fabric. The oppressed are often viewed as deserving of their suffering, while the oppressors are praised as superior and honorable. With such a social upbringing, it's hard to expect people to stand up to bullies.

See, the rule is simple. If in India, any politician starts living a simple non-ostentatious life without overt displays of power symbols, the public may start treating him as a powerless crazy person. Indians love feudalism, and playing the slaves to those in power. And that comes from various deeply ingrained social cultural practices.

How much oil India has for the final emergency? . . . . . If all crude supplies from middle-east stop one day, how much oil does India have in its Strategic Petroleum Reserves (SPR) 1) The Iran War has escalated dramatically since last evening. Israel-US have attacked major oil storage in Iran, burning it down in a cataclysmic fireball. 2) America has also destroyed a desalination plant of Iran, prompting a response that 'you started it first, remember'. 3) Clearly, major oil and water escalation is arriving, as Iran is now bound to hit Israeli and GCC desalination plants, throwing drinking water supply in total disarray. A human crisis may unfold very soon. 4) The real economic crisis will be when oil facilities are bombed relentlessly, and Strait of Hormuz doesn't open up at all, for weeks. Crude will rise immediately. 5) India imports ~ 85% of its crude oil needs, and ~60% imports are from the Middle East (Iraq, S. Arabia, UAE, Kuwait). So more than half of India’s oil imports are now at risk. 6) What will India's SPRs look like then? Here are the numbers - > a Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is a government-controlled stock of crude oil physically stored for emergency use during supply disruptions (like today's). > India maintains SPR to protect against sudden oil supply disruptions, to stabilize fuel prices, and maintain economic stability > These are literally crude stocks kept inside mountainous caverns > India's SPR capacity ≈ 5.33 million metric tonnes (≈ 39 million barrels crude oil) > Main storage sites are Visakhapatnam (9.33 MB), Mangaluru (10.5 MB) and Padur (17.5 MB) > This will cover just about 9–10 days of India’s oil demand. How? > India’s daily oil consumption is approximately ≈ 5.0 million barrels > So coverage from SPR = 39 million barrels ÷ 5.1 million barrels/day ≈ 7.6 days [ Note - Refinery + commercial storage in India is extra and is roughly ~65 days which makes for a Total National Buffer of 74 days ] 6) In comparison, China's SPR is 70 MMT in 35 sites, equivalent to 500 million barrels, and with a daily oil consumption of 15 million barrels, it makes 30-35 days coverage (and with commercial + refinery reserves it is upto 90 days (similar to India's)) 7) Where India missed - The SPR was physically not augmented at all in the past 10 years, despite a long phase of very cheap crude oil - it has stayed stagnant at just 5.33 MMT whereas it could have been double or triple this easily. A continuation of the Iran War for just 4 more weeks (most likely now) will throw all economic calculations out of the window. Huge energy stress will arrive in no time. India has diversified and sources from Russia and US too, surely, but distances are huge (6X at least, compared to middle east) and crude will now be much costlier too. What about LNG and LPG? India imports ~50% of its needs from the middle east only. Similar situation there. Oil → transport crisis LPG → household cooking crisis LNG → electricity & fertilizer crisis Bottomline: If Middle Eastern oil supply stops, India loses more than half of its crude imports, can survive about 70–75 days using reserves, will shift to suppliers like Russia, the US, and Africa, but oil prices and inflation would rise immediately. #India #Iran #IranWar #Crude #SPR

Mostly people don't become politicians in India to lead a minimal life. They crave power, and visible displays of it. They crave VIP status in every single thing they do. Enslaved-minds citizens have no choice but to silently tom-tom these symbols. Hence, if you ask these VIPs to live like normal persons, their entire goal of life itself would be snatched away. Their families and relatives will stop respecting and loving them almost immediately. Politics in India, at least 90% of it, is a struggle to be a VIP, then a VVIP and finally a VVVIP. And the more one rises, the more their speeches pretend otherwise. Being a P all over again is a death sentence. Holds for almost 90%, from Panchayats to PM's office.

@92Investor @sandeep_PT in a country, always we need to see which majority has the power. Hindus are in the majority and whatever Hindus do, other minorities will copy the same. If we promote Scientific temper, rationality then everyone get curious and starts looking into it.
