@raghav_chadha I do hope that you keep raising these issues in future as well. Only few may care about these topics but those few of us are watching you closely. You are very much appreciated and applauded in our small group.

Today in Parliament I highlighted GPU shortage as the biggest constraint in India’s AI ambition. The bottleneck is rising GPU costs & global supply shortage. This could choke India’s data centre expansion and AI advanced model training. India’s current compute pool has 34,000 GPUs, but a very small number compared to global scale required for training advanced models. Today I asked in the parliament, what are the specific targets, timelines & geopolitical engagements in place to secure predictable access to advanced computing resources, in particular GPUs?

@animesh_garg Absolutely. The same goes for almost all bigger humanoid and quadraped makers. Look at the patents filed by BD, tesla, apprtonik. Almost all of them have customized architecture of actuators. Beside this is precision engineering. Tesla seems to already solve this.

> Unitree, AgiBot, EngineAI, XPeng, Fourier, UBTECH, Kepler, MagicLab - none of them custom-engineer their actuators. This is likely very misleading! Most companies Unitree (QDD M107, M118), Agibot, LimX -- "proprietary in-house high-performing actuators" While the actuator companies provide faster start in robot building, most advanced ones end up integrating it in house, especially since Actuators are ~50% of BOM

Help needed with an idea to take my 8yo into the China maker ecosystem (hardware + AI / physical AI). We’ve been told China is currently the best place for this. Looking at: -Chaihuo Maker Space -Maker Camp Shenzhen -Short stop at Xinchejian (Shanghai) Your recommendation? Yes / No — why? Or anything better we should consider (labs, factories, people)? Goal: experience the scale, innovation, and latest manufacturing tech — fully hands-on, not just exposure.

You can access 𝕏 APi via @OpenClaw. We’re trying to make it affordable without giving away the shop. Hopefully, this can be useful & fun 💫
Robert Scoble@Scobleizer

Holy shit. Now everyone will be able to use their @OpenClaws and all the other agentic platforms to build apps on top of X. Here's the secret: build lists. Lists are how you build apps. The pattern: Build a list of your favorite football team. Or whatever you are into. Then ask your AI agents "build an app showing me all the important news about my favorite football team." In minutes you'll have an app. And that's just the beginning. Your agent can build a script about your favorite football team that you can take to places like Google's Notebook LM. Now you have a video, a podcast, a slide deck, a game, a mind map. All about your favorite football team based on real time news. You can do the same with something like @HeyGen, create an avatar of your favorite football player. Now you will have your favorite football player telling you everything that's happening on the football team. And I could go for hours about how many things you can build and not even cover a fraction of them. This is huge. Thank you @elonmusk for making it possible to make millions of agentic apps affordably on top of X. Start building!

@Nithin0dha Where is the data coming from? I have been working on AQI monitoring for some time. Majority of the AQI monitors out there are just giving relative data. Europe and other developed countries use proper industrial grade sensors to track this. We don’t have many here.

Good air, clean water, and food are fundamental to a good life. In that sense, they should be treated as fundamental rights. But air quality has been steadily degrading, and it's not really part of the mainstream conversation. That needs to change. Right now, if you look at the site (link in comments), everything looks green. But as we get closer to the end of the year, things will start looking much worse. Solving air pollution is hard, but the first step is simple: people need to know what they're breathing. Right now, that's not possible. India does collect air quality data, but it's either locked away, too broad to tell you anything about your locality, or just not published at all. There's no single place a citizen can go to get a clear, neighbourhood-level picture. So we set out to fix that. Today, we're launching an open, pan-India air quality platform, built in partnership with leading organisations in the field. The goal: give citizens, schools, local governments, and communities direct access to the data that affects their daily lives. At @RainmatterOrg , we've been committed to keeping this conversation alive, and this platform is our attempt at making that happen. All the data on the site is free and open, so others can build on top of it.

@vinikatyal @jassneetsingha True, but we need to pay taxes for the government to run. I agree there’s corruption too. But not wanting to pay taxes is not the solution. Nordic countries pay upwards of 50%. Out of topic - We are not an ideal nation but entitlement is disconcerting. We want everything free.

A friend at Oracle got impacted in the layoffs. Was on a call with him for about 30 minutes. Thankfully, he has ~18 months of safety net and kids education taken care of for 3 years, something we’ve discussed way too often. He’s really good at his work. But one thing he said stayed with me: “I’d rather earn ₹12L and take the rest as benefits… I just don’t want to pay tax.”
