Hi @VueHelp - trying to book tickets for a showing tomorrow in Gateshead, and it’s coming up with this… Is this an error or does this mean this showing is sold out?
@AldiUK - It’s way too easy for supermarkets to get away with selling rotten products/having bad quality control, knowing most people won’t bother going back for a refund as it’s not worth our time. This is disgusting – I only bought them today.
@SimonFento1566@FamEdTrust@educationgovuk Which is the majority! Annoys me that people call this a scrounge/cost issue. The main issue is time. Don’t know how most people are expected to be at work & at the school drop offs/pick ups at the same time…. Unless people can be in two places at once & I’m missing something?
We’re opening free breakfast clubs in all primary schools to boost parents' work choices and children's life chances.
750 schools are becoming the first to offer the clubs, set to save parents £450 a year.
Find out where to find the early adopter schools ⬇️🥣
@HoneybourneFarm@FamEdTrust@educationgovuk It’s not always cost focused, it’s time. Working parents who have to get to work on time - most standard jobs are 9-5. Most schools start at 8:45/9am and finish at 3/3:15pm. In a society where where families rely on joint income, it’s hard and not all employers are understanding.
@FamEdTrust@educationgovuk Isn't this what Child Benefit is for? £25.60 for the first child, £16.95 for subsequent children. Surely parents can afford some cereal and milk using that?!
@BBCNews I pay £48 a month for 30ml of thyroid medicine. I can get a 100ml bottle for the same price online. Vet refuses to write a prescription for 100ml, or with a medicine count greater than 1. Basically forcing me to pay their prices, for a medicine my cat will be taking for life. 😑
@KatBarlow@My_Metro Didn’t get home till 9pm yesterday stuck on that failed train. Bus driver wouldn’t accept my pop card, I only had a bank card but the card machine wasn’t working - phone had died. Had to walk from Gateshead stadium to Heworth, now my metro is 20 mins away 😅
@My_Metro Are these faults ever likely to get fixed? I’m ending up having to go to work an hour early and then usually getting home late too because of cancelled metros. I’m exhausted 🫠
Some services will not run this morning due to a lack of available trains. Please find the list of affected journeys on our website:

@blogger_chap@BBCNews Wow! That’s really helpful, thanks. You just can’t find any transparent costs anywhere, which is v daunting (esp since we don’t know what needs done)
Never paid for insurance because of the loop holes, would rather put money aside each month specifically for pet emergencies!
@vikkisco@BBCNews Medication was required to prevent an infection plus follow up visits for check-ups. Probably paid around £800 from start to finish for the 2nd two teeth to be extracted.
@blogger_chap@BBCNews Out of curiosity, how much? I think dental treatment is on the cards for my cat. Just waiting on his Thyroid to be sorted before they look, but the lack of transparency on costs is worrying!
@BBCNews It’s not difficult to spend that kind of money with pets. Insurance policies have so many inclusions and only pay a certain amount each year. Dental for my two older cats was extortionate and was largely excluded. Both were insured with a decent company.

@tbarrett@BBCBreaking I think her life in prison will be much worse.
People that harm children in any way, shape or form are classed as the worst of the worst by other inmates.
