I totally get why it might look like normal cat behavior at first glance, some cats do love perching on shoulders or heads for short bursts when they're bonded and feeling secure. But with 35 years of living with cats, I've never seen one hold a steady standing balance like that for the full airport experience (security lines, boarding, hours in the air, deplaning, etc.) which is on average over 5 hours. Even the chillest felines usually shift, stretch, or hop down after a while, especially in a noisy, stressful travel setting. This is actually Atlanta's "Beltline Cat Guy" (Jeremy Smith) and his trained cat Whisker, who’s habituated to riding on his head during daily walks, it's their routine, not a random stunt. The clip just captures a calm moment at the gate. Still, your point about prolonged comfort is fair; most cats aren't built for hours of upright perching without readjusting. No shade, just fellow cat-lover realism!
