I've got to say @tankots, the difference between using @WisprFlow on my laptop in a closed-off room versus using it on Android as I walk down a busy street in Bangalore is spectacular. This is real value on lock. Thank you.

@andrewchen I'm glad that AI is getting us all back to building like we were teens all over again. But yes, Andrew, you are right. AI is getting us to build like teens while having all the responsibilities of adults.

AI is supposed to save me time, but now I find myself building stuff all evening and weekend and it's actually increasing my time in front of the computer WTF

@rishikagupta__ None of the good AI startups look like wrappers. Just the bad ones do.

Are there any good AI startups that don’t look like simple wrappers?

Most AI Co's just sell fancier excel SaaS-with-AI makes s/w easier to use. AI-native makes a big part of the s/w disappear Don't show me 90 tickets. Tell me 87 resolved & 3 that need my decision Stop building better dashboards. Build systems that make dashboards unnecessary

@elijahmuraoka_ What are the clear reasons for you to fork Obsidian? Or (even better) add to Obsidian? I'd like to use it if you build!

Imagine this: open-source Notion Full programmatic control over you own docs, data, and context Host, share, and collaborate with your team APIs + SKILL files built in by default Personal software is the future Anyone see anything like this? I need it If not, i’ll build it

5/5 If you're a founder: ignore the bubble noise. Ask what pain becomes obsolete if your product works. If you're an investor: don't count the bodies. Watch what the best teams normalise in the next 24 months. Stop betting against the people laying the tracks

4/5 Customers are already paying where products remove real workflow pain. That's not a bubble signal. That's a market signal. One team makes deployment safer. Another turns a brittle workflow into a dependable one. It raises the baseline for every builder after them.

The AI bubble crowd is asking the wrong question. It isn't "when will it pop?" It is: What gets built? What becomes default? What pain disappears? Those are the only questions that matter. 🧵

Between Code & Desktop app, @claudeai is furthest ahead in getting customer lock-in. Every other product, Gemini, Perplexity, or ChatGPT seem like exactly the same product with a different logo.

5/5 Broad GTM is for scale. Focus is for survival. Survival is the only prerequisite for scale.

4/5 Answer my 3 Qs before building: a) Identified narrowest ICP with acute pain? b) Identified GTM motion only YOU can execute fast? c) Able to repeat learning in 30 days? Vague answers = Not focused enough yet Pause the roadmap. Build the wedge. Learn what works. Then scale.

Obsession with GTM is killing your early stage startup. Early-stage founders don't have a GTM problem. They have an identity problem. GTM is too broad for day zero. It hides weak conviction. Content, SEO, partnerships, outbound? It's avoidance disguised as strategy A 🧵

I have an iPad, a reMarkable, and too many Japanese paper notebooks. But I still think best on a whiteboard.
