(He was supposed to be sentenced on April 21 but there is absolutely nothing about his sentence anywhere. Did they lose him??)

This morning, I visited the Gobeze Solar Cell manufacturing plant located in the Huajian Special Economic Zone in Addis Ababa. The factory was established based on an agreement signed during the 2025 Invest in Ethiopia Forum, with an initial phase investment of 100 million dollars. With effective support and close follow-up, the “Gobeze Solar Cell” manufacturing plant became operational in just six months. It is equipped with modern machinery and technology. The factory has also created job opportunities for many citizens. In its first phase, the factory has an annual production capacity of 2 gigawatts, contributing additional capacity toward realizing Ethiopia’s national vision of fully meeting its energy demand through renewable sources. In addition, we also visited a shoe manufacturing factory and a substation located within the industrial park.

Who started this: Project was sanctioned and awarded by CM Devendra Fadnavis during 2017-18 Why this is engineering marvel 1. The Tunnels: The project includes two massive tunnels- one 1.75 km and another 8.9 km. At nearly 24 meters wide, they are the widest road tunnels in Asia. 2. The Bridge: It features India’s highest cable-stayed bridge, standing 180 meters (approx. 590 feet) above the valley floor, connecting the two tunnel sections. (As shown in video) 3. Speed & Safety: By removing the "S-curves" and steep inclines of the old ghat, the new link allows a consistent speed of 120 km/h, bypassing the most dangerous accident spots on the entire route.
