@TommoMcCluskey Ooo, I didn't see this! I prefer the simple one, but an idea for text could be 'IT'S ON.' Again, simpler and easier to read. Excited to see how the vid does

@virtuallycallum Cheers fella! Out of interest, what do you think of the text additional version? In the A/B test I ran, the one with text on actually won out with 51.9% vs 48.1%.

The simpler the thumbnail the better. 3 subjects is my rule, but some ideas you can boil down to fewer. This is a banger from @TommoMcCluskey The thumbnail is SO SIMPLE that it grab attention. Then the title does the heavy lifting to earn the click. This will FLY.

The best sign that things are going for a client's channel? The top 5 channels start copying your packaging, editing style and video ideas. Then you know you're winning.

An absolutely INSANE Saturday at Silverstone with @McLarenF1 and @YouTubeCreators As a long-time F1 nerd, the first time stepping into the garage and seeing the team working on the car was next-level. The speed of work, the provision of the engineers, the detail of feedback from the drivers... An unbelievable operation.

Bit of a snap into T10 during practice on Thursday. Hopefully less of that today for the race. My 9th @24HoursofSpa in 10 years 🙌

I’m so damn excited to be taking part in my first @24hNBR this week. It’s been a long time coming and there were many points where I thought I’d missed my chance. I’ll be making the most of this opportunity. Professional N24 debut at 40 years old. Sometimes it’s not too late ✌️

If we know that 80% of the views on your channel come from 20% of the videos, why are you still expecting linear growth? Here's the exact strategy I used to grow a channel 160% in 90 days. If you've been creating for a while, you will have a handful of outliers that achieve so much success, that they dwarf the rest of your yearly output. I'm a big believer that to grow a channel fast, you should look to raise the roof rather than raise the floor. Seek to have bigger hits than minimise misses. Every channel has flops. But not every channel has the big spikes. So, how should we change our strategy with that in mind? Use 3/4 of your uploads to maintain. These are videos that build on previous successes and engage the returning audience. These are the heartbeat of your channel. Use the 1/4 to build. Make videos that have the potential to hit every viewer in your niche. These are broad appeal, high value and, often, high-lift to produce. They leverage your unique advantage, they are novel, and reward your viewers better than any other channel can. In other words, you're giving them the best chance at reaching more of your ideal viewers than the rest of your channel combined in the last 3 months. Providing these are the right viewers, you flood your channel with new viewers. They watch video after video, and the channel-wide view takes a massive leap. I'm not just waffling about this, I'm doing it. One of my clients is 160% up in the last 90 days because of this *exact* effect. I will be dropping that case study soon - follow if you want to see that.

Took my Beat to see a friend last night then drove home into the sunset with the roof down, wringing its 656cc neck. Such a little cracker.

@jayclouse Got you, that makes sense. That's the thing with YouTube, effects are very rarely single-variable.

@virtuallycallum Yeah there’s a dual situation here for sure but we were seeing browse pick up beforehand (our CTR has risen quite a bit with the new test). There was a thread here on X posted yesterday that i believe is the cause of External
