A hauntingly beautiful scene from the forests of the Black Esk, captured yesterday morning. I've always been drawn to these eerie and secluded locations, where the skeletal trees stand like totems of a dark temple, with only their creaking timber interrupting the sacred quietness. Breaking from the constructed forestry tracks and instead navigating the breaks feels like stepping into a never-ending labyrinth — a place where it is easy to lose oneself for hours, wrapped in the rarity of absolute, uninterrupted solitude. Yesterday was especially still. In fact, eerily so. Not the faintest breath of wind, just a heavy hush wrapped in moody mist, amplifying every shadow.
It still aches a to walk these places without Molly physically by my side, but I swear I can still feel her presence there. She always loved these dank woods, where the earthy dampness and the vibrant, thick moss offered a perfectly soft carpet for her aging paws. These forests were her element as much as mine.

This is a total misreading of the room and the phrase.
When people say “Britain is broken” they are referring to the State. The state runs things that are broken. Immigration, the NHS, housing, etc. Nobody means our culture or history is broken.
The vast majority of Brits polled (77%) think the country is broken too.
We need to fix Britain, admitting it’s broken is the first place to start.
As the famous phrase goes “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” - well I want less of that!

I want to clarify a really important point I do not believe that Britain is ‘broken’. Restore Britain does not believe that Britain is 'broken'. That’s a lazy, boring, pessimistic, defeatist way of looking at our country - it fundamentally misunderstands where the real problem lies. It's a shitty little soundbite that downplays who we are and what we can do. Britain is not broken. Our people are not broken, our attitude is not broken, our history is not broken, our culture is not broken. Not yet. Soon, but not yet. What is broken is the British state. The bloated, the rotten, the corrupt British state. That is an entirely different problem. Travel around this country and you will find decent, hardworking, generous people. Funny people. Good people. Patriotic people. You will find people doing the right thing every single day. Trying their best to make their way in life. They are not broken - they are more determined than ever. The strength of this country has always been its people. It is certainly NOT the machinery that governs them. A political class addicted to short-term thinking, a state that expands endlessly but delivers less and less. THAT is broken. Not the people, but those governing them. None of this is failure of our people. We have voted against it all, again and again. We have been betrayed, we have been let down. Each and every time. Britain remains the most remarkable nation on earth. We have talent. We have resilience. We have humour. We have fight. What we lack is a state that matches the courage of its people. As a political party, that is what Restore Britain believes. We are optimistic about what can be done, what will be done. We believe that there is still time. It is not too late to Restore Britain. Just. I hope you will consider supporting us in that mission.

🦅 It turns out that Guthrie our Griffon vulture is quite domesticated, so we'll be look into finding sanctuary placement for him in the future, but first need to address his medical issues, including a small break in his beak and minor malnutrition.
Our staff have been working hard this week on spay/neuter surgeries and keeping up with the critical medical cases. We less than one week left in the month, we still need a bit of help shoring up our rent, food, and salary funds. Double 🗳️ Weekend helped immensely, and we've been able to pay off our 🪵 bill entirely and come close to covering our 🥘 bill, so we're confident we'll be able to bring it home this month with a bit of your help.
