when you need to accuracymax the harness, you own the environment codex browser-use doesnt know you (for better or worse) like your browser does. so it gets tripped up on context, auth, and permissioning. but a native browser? problem solved @vishy1027 is also brilliant and lovely

For the past several months, we’ve been thinking deeply about how agents will fundamentally change how we interact with the web. Today we’re excited to introduce Polar, the final interface for knowledge work.

A lot of my MIT circle ended up in quant at places like Jane Street, Citadel, and HRT. Now a huge chunk of them have moved from NYC to SF to found or join AI startups. And I've noticed something interesting... the finance mindset is actually the wrong one for startups. In finance, being wrong is expensive. You want to protect your downside, size your bets carefully, and minimize losses. The whole game is essentially loss mitigation. Startups operate on completely different math, where the power law means that missing a winner costs orders of magnitude more than being wrong. If you catch the one company that returns 1000x, it buries every bad bet you ever made, combined. That's easy to say, but it looks insane in practice. A lot of people think Elon has dumb takes and on a lot of individual things, they might be right, but he's been correct on the things that actually move the needle. E.g. electric vehicles when everyone called it a toy market, rockets when "private space" was a punchline, and AI risk before it was a mainstream concern. The results speak for themselves. Being right often matters in finance, but in startups and VC, being right on the things that matter is the only thing

Try Opus 4.6 for free on Composer! It’s more intelligent and efficient on all knowledge work tasks. Here’s an example of Composer using subagents to parallelize research of 50+ YC companies

. @trycomposer is SO GOOD officially unseats comet for my favorite live browser tool I set it loose on county property records and it asked it to find 100 most recent incidents of NODs (notice of defaults). Flawless. once it figure out a repeatable pattern it auto spawns parallel workers to speed up data collection tasks - really fast - has a great integrated ui for filesystem access - can save all kinds of files including screenshots @jiang_kev bravo

It's been really rewarding watching Composer handle real work for me! Just this past week while evaluating against WebArena, I had Composer fully autonomously configure, deploy, and test end-to-end the web environment in the AWS console all from a single github link!

We just built a browser agent that outperforms OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, and Manus on real-world tasks that knowledge workers actually do And it ranks #1 on every single major web benchmark
