@hustle_fred @starter_story @Superwall Start calling out @HubSpot , I'm sure they spent at least 7-figures+ on acquiring @starter_story. Would they continue with acquisition, knowing that starter story did not vet content, or cares about accuracy.

many people came defending her telling me to remove the post
i guess i was right after all
there were just too many red flags
worst part is i am really disappointed that @starter_story and @superwall did a video on her without doing proper research
both videos have as top comments people accusing her of lies and none of those comments got a response from authors
she may be knowledgeable about promoting apps but there are just too much misinformation in her story

Second time I’ve seen @madebycol tell the Glam Up / Sprout story in a way that materially misrepresents who built what. She contributed. But this was not a solo founder story, and I’m not going to keep letting my work, nor my team's work get erased. It's frustrating, sad & disappointing.

It’s a visibility issue where you’re screwed twice: 1) App Store limits visibility for 6-12 months+ 2) Many categories are saturated Solution: Create a “visibility” App Store ads campaign: → Target exact match phrase for app title Your app will still appear on recommended search but may not appear in organic results. You gotta bump it to the top Create a “competitor” campaign: → Target exact match phrase of each of your competitors that appear in the recommend search list for your keyword Much cheaper to target when someone types “learn XYZ” and then taps a recommended result instead of targeting the keyword itself)

@madebycol and I worked on Glam Up together, and she contributed real work. After that, we brought her onto Sprout.
But the framing around who built, designed, owned, and grew both apps is materially inaccurate.
I designed and built Glam Up, primarily funded/incorporated it, was majority owner, and drove the early growth, including the first breakout post and our highest-viewed account.
On Sprout, I designed and primarily built the product, helped drive growth, funded/incorporated the company, and recruited the team alongside @dillonmendes_ and @GindinMike.
Nicole had minority equity while working on Sprout and hasn’t been on the team since September 2025.
These were not solo founder stories.
