To be frank, there are a lot of reasons that it couldn’t make it in. Timelines, bandwidth, complexity of the content & rebuilding it, etc. It’s a bummer, but a quick thought involving your note on Final Shape timing would be “Would you have been happy with losing over half of Edge of Salvation and dampening final battles with the Witnessin exchange for Wrath” Some players would have been chill with it, sure - but it’s not the path we chose. Gamedev is a constant give and take. We’re always trying to make the right choices for players and deliver dope content. Sometimes we just can’t hit every single thing.

I don't care what anyone says. I'm going to enjoy this June update as much as I can. I'm going to replay the campaigns, raids, dungeons, strikes and activities, visit all the pointless places in patrol. I'm going to farm catalysts, chase god rolls, finish my collections and make all my favorite builds. But more importantly, once I feel satisfied, no matter how long it takes, I'm going to sit at the edge of the Tower looking into the distance and tell my Guardian it's finally time to retire, and let go of Destiny. Let this be a memory we never forget. 12 years of adventures, friendships, victories, failures and unforgettable moments. All the good and all the bad. Nothing is perfect, nothing lasts forever, but if you've been on this journey since the very beginning, I'm sure you've had some incredible moments. If you've got this far, share one important memory that you've had from Destiny that has meant a lot to you, whether that's meeting your partner, your best friend, or you've had an experience you'll never forget. I'd love to hear the stories you've all had during this time because not many games can say that they've created a memory worth remembering. For me, my biggest memory was during 2015 when I did my first ever raid and spent days upon days failing badly, but.. I never gave up, I kept going because I knew that if I kept trying I would improve, and if I kept improving I would succeed, and succeed I did, my first ever raid clear, and it truely was an experience I'll never forget. All the memories, all the awesome people I met along the way. It's been an incredible journey both as a Guardian and a Content Creator, and if this truely is the end of Destiny, I'm sure as hell going to enjoy every last minute of it because life is too short and nothing lasts forever. See ya'll on June 9th.

@A_dmg04 Why scrap seasonal events man - these could add so much to brining back players - there has gor to be a way to make them happen automated and with all modes and rewards that were there in the past
