I’m tempted to just craft my own Ruby gem for the Debug Adapter Protocol…

I just released a new version of the Stimulus LSP that is now fully powered by the power and intelligence of the Herb toolchain! 🌿 I'm so happy that this finally came full circle. These features are initially what prompted me to start working on Herb!

Twitter experts are so smart I can’t. Does this mean that I should make a fixed limit on how big directory you can open with fff search and crash if you open 500,002 files dir? 🤔 People plz just think before you type those posts.

Dynamic allocation / heap allocation is enemy number one. If your computer program is well designed, you should know how much resources it is going to take up before you run it. If you don't, then it isn't a good program Allocate everything on the stack

Code[dot]Storage A new Git provider for machines by @pierrecomputer. In Oct, Github shared they were averaging ~230 new repos per minute. Last week we hit a sustained peak of > 15,000 repos per minute for 3 hours. And in the last 30 days customers have created > 9m repos🧵

Has anyone tried to create an unofficial 1Password extension for Safari that actually works? I'm tired of this thing not working most of the time.

@bunopus_en Same. I’m seeing a pattern where TTM is prioritized over customer value and product quality. Shipping dozens of features with AI doesn’t automatically translate into ARR growth. in the current AI rush, momentum and narrative often seem to matter more than fundamentals.

Spent an evening drinking with several CEOs. Everybody is hyped about AI and only one metric: time-to-market. I'm deeply concerned about significant degradation of everything-tech we'll see in several years with that approach

Here's where the UI is at for a native macOS app that controls the Shure MV7 mic. I'm going to call it "Sure" and eventually sell it on the macOS App Store after I use it for a while. One thing you'll notice is you can read the labels below the settings and know what they do.

@shure No thanks, your software is so bad that I'm reverse engineering the control protocol with @claudeai so I can control it with a native macOS app. I really hope you rethink your software because it's an insult to the hard work your company puts into hardware development.
