@seloesque Because I'm neurotic and was so dissatisfied with how I wrote it that I had to delete it. It's a big deal and I wanted the scientists' work to be presented in a compelling way. My brain was fried from working 14 hours, so I wanted to sleep before drafting again.

@zachtratar @RobertJBye Adirondacks, Catskills hiking, snowboarding. Kiteboarding, windsurfing in great south bay, sandy hook, Long Beach nj. Beach volleyball at Long Beach ny. I’d posit that you’d spend more time in nature in nyc because you have to outdo other people’s weekends.

@schrep @Waymo My understanding is that if they lose connectivity for more than 30 seconds they have to pull over until they resume. If they can't resume they enter into a mode that signals for a tow truck to come retrieve it.

Had a scary @Waymo ride just now. Said it had to pull off highway suddenly, then stopped short before a major intersection. Started moving erratically so I jumped out of the car while the light was red. It’s still stopped blocking a lane on 84/woodside. Calling support from car didn’t work so wonder if it was a network issue?

Here's the thing, I much prefer Tesla's native software over Apple CarPlay, but if having CarPlay helps convince some people to buy a Tesla, then I'm all for it. At the end of the day, using CarPlay would be optional. You wouldn't have to use it. Some people just really want it.
