Replying has been the most powerful growth strategy on X since the dawn of the blue bird
Every big account started like this, including myself
Here are the 16 Reply Guy Commandments:
1. You need to set up two X Lists: 1 for people you want to network with, and one for people already in your network
2. Carve out half an hour of your day to write replies. Go on do not disturb mode. Scroll past the thirst traps when you see them you sicko.
3. Don't send too many replies too quick. Just like with your wife, if you do it too quick you'll get shadowbanned
4. Using X Pro allows your to send out replies faster than the Washington Post can write an Elon hit piece
5. EVERY SINGLE reply needs to be thoughtful. No lazy ones. No single emojis. Laziness will ostracize you to the depths of the shadow realm
6. Use the $2.00 strategy. Put your 2 cents on 100 posts a day. And no this wasn't inspired at all by Gary Vee's $1.80 strategy
7. Using AI to write replies is a dumber move than Hollywood rolling out Harrison Ford for another Indiana Jones movie
8. Keep a notepad open (I use Notion) as you're replying. Brainstorm on how you can turn your replies into posts
9. If your reply gets a warm response, first of all congrats on being a likeable person, but second of all send them a DM to lock in your sultry new relationship
10. Trader Joes makes by far the best ice cream sandwiches and should 100% sponsor me (this has nothing to do with replies but is still really important)
11. Don't be toxic. The algo detects toxicity and sends you to the shadow realm. I don't care if you hate someone more than Trump hates Rosie O'Donnell. You're only hurting yourself by letting out your toxic side.
12. The goal isn't to grow. It's to build relationships. Growth will naturally come from your relationships.
13. Multimedia in your replies gives you a big boost
14. You can disagree with people, but don't be disagreeable. You'll be muted faster than Kanye West giving a speech at a synagogue.
15. Don't plug your own posts. It's tacky.
16. If you're hating on someone in their replies you're only doing them a favor by giving them free engagement (hates feel free to reply below.)
