To put this in perspective — for the 2025 MLB regular season, Toronto Blue Jays games on Sportsnet averaged 906,800 viewers per game. Letting the Jays have the entire Canadian market to themselves is CRAZY, and I think the 29 other MLB owners would agree. This is a major advantage for a Montreal Expos expansion bid. Both Nashville and Charlotte would encroach on clubs drawing less than a fifth of what the Jays draw on TV.
