@chinnychick @chinnychick I was the RAFLO at Bastian - I arrived Jan 1st and as you say this day was unfortunately the first of many similar over the next few weeks … and one that has stayed with me too 💕

I collected Marine Curry from Kajaki Dam. He was the first soldier I ever carried on my aircraft that had paid the ultimate price. Sadly many more were to follow…but his name has stayed with me ever since. I will never forget that moment. #lestweforget ❤️😢

My wonderful friend has lent me her stunning seafront apartment in Worthing for 2 weeks to help bridge the gap until we complete on the house purchase. It’s so lovely that I may never leave!

Final rant about being stuck on the A3 coming into London today in a traffic jam that moved five miles in five hours. No exit roads. No service stations Elderly ladies hobbling into the bushes in vain search for a dignified place to pee. Children howling. @TfL said they were doing “emergency repair works” near the Tolworth tunnel. But all day, drivers that finally made it there saw no work happening at all. Nor did I. Nothing. Just a lot of cones. So that @TfL message was apparently not true. I find I can’t let this this lie. How can this happen ? How can it be Iegal? What part of Broken Britain accounts for this ? The problem here’ isn’t Half Term or bank holiday because this is going INTO London. So what is this ? Is this pure incompetence ? The consequence of outsourcing to dodgy contractors? Or something shadier ? Maybe someone has inside information that could anonymously share ?

@chinnychick People often ask about my time in the military & whether I ever felt threatened in social situations - like you i now realise that time was privileged, safe & someone always had my back - since leaving & with a teenage girl I now know the reality is frighteningly different

This is the second thing today on social media I’ve seen about woman getting unwanted attention and being made to feel uncomfortable 😞 I’ve lived such a privileged life and been surrounded by the most chivalrous, caring and genuine men over that time. However in the last 2 years I’ve had 2 incidents similar to below. One with a full on stalker who found out where I lived and had been following me for months until I noticed and called the police, and another who made me feel extremely uncomfortable following a talk I gave and also tracked down where I lived and continued to cross boundaries. Its made me very closed off to some degree which I hate as i honestly believe most people have good intentions and im an extremely gregarious person. So often people do something, without fully understanding the deeper and lasting impact it may have on the person they are targeting, even if they ‘think’ it’s harmless or well intended. 😢

@Tesco how come sine are being offered compensation each time a delivery is cancelled and others not … I have had 5 deliveries cancelled and nothing - some appear to be getting £10 every time
