It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our own, Erica Harrison, a beloved paramedic who dedicated nearly two and a half years of service to the City of Baltimore and the Baltimore City Fire Department. Our department is deeply saddened by the untimely loss.

A young girl & her dad had a chair with them when stopped in @mcfrs FS703 (Rockville) this evening, the catch was her finger was stuck in a chair. @mcfrs career & volunteer @RockvilleVFD members were able to remove safely without injury. She & her dad now think FS703 crew is #1!

@Pfagell I made this sign today and taped it to my office door. When I’m alone (which isn’t very often!), I’m unmasked with a window cracked open. Don’t know if it’s the best way to handle the change, and I’d love constructive support!

As mandates disappear, some kids will wear a mask, some won't, & others will go back & forth for non-covid reasons -- i.e. they feel "naked" without it, think they make "weird" facial expressions or want to conceal acne. Validate that change is hard, & it's OK to be inconsistent.
