Ferk was a very good man. Great to the kids of Norridge, right where I grew up. Had lots of friends who played for him and they always spoke highly of him. He was a terrific official who was always good to me when I saw him. RIP Ferk.

RIP to an absolute legend. Almost everyone who lived in Norridge knew Coach Frerking. I was a 29 year old first time head coach he was already in multiple hall of fames but treated me with more respect than I probably deserved. Great man and great family. RIP Ferk

The Bears want to get rid of this scene, and host games in a dome, so they can sell PSLs and have more luxury suites and own surrounding real estate. Seems suboptimal for everyone but the owners.
