@vogsberger @John01291851401 @TheVolumeSports @colincowherd Yes, they absolutely were the favorites in the east without James. They just beat the Celtics with Joel injured. Picking up Brown made them the favorites. James is a nice addition, 4th to 5th best on the team.

Fit concerns for the 76ers are being overstated. Jaylen Brown CAN defend the opposing teams’ best offensive player and play off-ball in spurts. He literally did that for years in Boston and it led to success. Maxey is elite off-ball. LeBron fills the playmaking void. Only question mark is health. Everything else is noise.

@vogsberger @PONTA6565 Thats why it took 6 more years for lebron to pass jordan in offensive rebounds? Those are typically hustle boards and it should be embarrassing that it took him so long to get to it. The def rebounds for more than a decade now have been a joke in the nba.

Which offensive system would defenses be more scared of, an offensive scheme ran by Steph or Magic. Maybe if Magic was a better shooter he would be used differently.

@quebecgolf22 @LETSSEATALK @percyishim We’re not redefining the position. Steph just does it in a different way. Sure he’s score first but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t facilitate. You need to watch him more and see how much he tells people where and when to move when he doesn’t have the ball.

@quebecgolf22 @LETSSEATALK @percyishim Ik I’m rambling, but the reason Steph is so great is because he facilitates offense without the ball which has never been done before and that’s because of the attention his shooting ability draws. Steph does everything a regular pg does but it’s ascetically looks different.

@vogsberger @LETSSEATALK @percyishim Their offense was built for the strength of the team, shooting. Dray plays more like the PG of that team. I don’t know why folks try so hard to make Steph something he’s not. Gil explained perfectly what a PGs job is.

He facilitates offense without the ball and arguably getting guys better looks than you’re so called “actual point guards”. I mean Klay Thompson is getting wide open shots.
