I'm sorry but there is no cheap "good" way to play #N64 games on a modern TV. You can go the RetroScaler and Brawler controller route but you're just doing the N64 and yourself a disservice. At minimum get yourself a good used controller and lube it. Get a RT 2x Mini w/ S-Video

@DefaultDNB I would think that label art is not included due to copyright issues. The art from the review units was said to not be from Analogue officially and label art would most likely be all 3rd party adds

@RetroGamer_Mag I got my 360 in 2007 but I didn’t t get an HD TV until 2010

The Xbox 360 may have ushered in the HD era of gaming, but Nick primarily played his on tiny standard definition TVs. Did you get your HDTV as soon as you got your first HD-ready console? If not, how long did you wait to upgrade? Some replies will be printed in the magazine.

@TakiUdon_ Crashes have happened for me on S1 games

Update - 17 crashes while filming a review. eShop, main menu, S1 games, S2 editions, and S2 Welcome Tour. MKWT is the only game that doesn't seem to crash the console. I already planned to get a second unit just for screen mod R&D, so I'll just make that one the daily driver.

Is it just me, or is the Switch 2 incredibly buggy? I'm on my 7th hard crash/system freeze in 10 hours. I just had the entire system stall out while idling in SMRPG. I started recording as the audio cut out. I'm used to jank on a product launch, but this is getting annoying.

Working on this N64 Digital install into a custom Smoke Black shell this evening! Console was fully recapped along with the PSU, ports cleaned, LED swapped and updated to current firmware! This was the original version of the digital and had a super early firmware on it too!
