@openshipio I am amazed this project has taken off. The guy initially pretended to be a Vercel employee, then removed it from the bio. Now, selling this! We are doomed. This space has no engineers left. Just vibes

You don't even want to know what sending 80,000 emails would cost you in 1 week. Postmark: $100+ SendGrid: $90+ Resend: $80+ Mailgun: $80+ OpenShip: $0. Deploy it on your 5$ VPS. Unlimited domains. Unlimited inboxes. No per-email bill. No vendor lock-in. And yes - it works with one-click setup. No deep infrastructure work. Just add a few DNS records, and you're ready to go.

@volumepunch You can also use the React/Vue components standalone, but the provided backend integration is Laravel + Inertia.

<Form :form /> ✨ That's it. Backend-populated, or composed in the frontend. CSS-variable theming. Cohesively tuned components. Presenters split from composables/hooks. Override or extend. Integrates with Laravel validation, Precognition, uploads/storage, and model binding.

Thought I'd never finish this package. At one point I was convinced AI would make it irrelevant before I shipped it. Turns out AI loves this package. Pair it with an agent and you build crazy fast 💨

Laravel 13.20+ finally brings first-party image processing. 🖼️ Huge shout-out to @enunomaduro for cooking this one. $request->image(), Storage::image(), configurable drivers, and immutable transformations. This feels like it has always belonged in Laravel.

@zeeg So many things about the backend JS ecosystem make me miss Django, this is near the top of the list

I wish drizzle-kit would let me insert typescript migrations so I could bundle all sorts of data migrations that cant be done exclusively with SQL Django made this nice and simple

I have never actively wanted a programming language to fail but thanks to Andrew Kelley's scurrilous, outrageous, classless post on @jarredsumner 's bun rewrite, I got there. Port every project from Zig to Rust.

@maxedapps Don't agree! Beyond his tone, there were deeper issues and I am glad he said that. What you are saying is: "Someone killed my loved one and now if I am yelling and abusing, you come to me say, use better language"

@schrockn @jarredsumner Did you and I read the same article? Andrew only pointed out their differences in philosophy while also acknowledging Jared’s donations and his success?

@thdxr Wow, you guys are so bitter. The issue was not about what he asked. The issue is having a self serving purpose and pushing hard on that. Not everyone is waking up to fulfil others purpose.

I expect people who work on programming languages to have exceptional taste. Looking at the blog post from the Zig team, it unfortunately appears they have poor taste. It’s likely to severely impact their future adoption.
