10 years trading small caps… and discipline can still be the hardest part. That's why @averydaytrading calls @TradeThePool a game changer. 🛡️ Think of your account like a car: A seat belt isn't optional. Neither should your risk management be. Built-in drawdown limits and mandatory hard stops help protect your capital when emotions take over. Even experienced traders know one bad trade can erase weeks of progress. $USDKRW rises after South Korea's preliminary Q2 GDP expanded 3.7% y/y, above expectations. This is driven by the #AI boom, which fuels a surge in #Semiconductors shipments, supporting the case for further #BoK tightening after this month’s pivot. Alongside easing #USDollar strength, the pair is exposed to deeper declines, but there is scope for a recovery that would test the EMA200 and the downside momentum. The GDP print marked a slight cooling from the prior quarter, underscoring the risks facing the Korean economy as the Middle East conflict lingers. This also sustains inflationary risks and market bets on Fed rate hikes, supporting the greenback. #MarketInsights

🌴 July 21 Market Update & Vol Analysis Macro signals following yesterday’s U.S. market close, including a stronger U.S. dollar, rising Treasury yields, and muted tech stock performance have created headwinds for risk assets. However, crypto markets have remained relatively resilient and have not followed the broader weakness. Over the past 24 hours, BTC rebounded from a low of $63,100 to a high of $65,799, marking a 4.28% move. The key divergence signal is that BTC spot ETF flows remained positive despite the macro pressure, recording $84.4M in net inflows. Recent developments also point to signs of decoupling from traditional tech equities. This suggests that current buying pressure is primarily driven by crypto-native demand and specific allocation flows, rather than broader risk appetite spillover from traditional markets. Meanwhile, moderate funding rates indicate that speculative activity in the derivatives market has not yet accelerated, with limited leverage-driven momentum. Overall: Range-bound with a bullish tilt. The market may continue to digest macro headwinds in the short term, but spot demand from ETF inflows provides solid downside support. BTC’s relative strength versus ETH is likely to continue. - Deribit Top Strategy: BTC BULL PUT SPREADS - Deribit Top Option: BTC-31JUL26-68000-C 🎁 Join the Deribit × SignalPlus Trading Competition for a chance to win private islands, a Rolex, and a share of the 600,000 USDC prize pool: t.signalplus.com/deribitislandc…

Good news is bad news? A recurring macro pattern — and the logic behind it The setup: when inflation is elevated, central banks could be looking for reasons to raise rates — or keep them high. Enter the jobs report. A strong labour market potentially removes one of the main arguments against cutting. If people are employed and spending, the economy doesn't necessarily need rate relief to stay afloat. So markets reprice. Strong jobs data. Rates stay higher for longer. Valuations could come under pressure — particularly for growth stocks. The result?
Positive economic news → less pressure to cut rates → markets can sell off. This reflects how markets might reassess expectations in certain macroeconomic environments. So, is good news bad news? It may only hold in high-inflation environments — when the central bank's next move is more likely to be a hike than a cut. Whether that applies in any given cycle could depend on where inflation actually is. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 78.48% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. #marketanalysis #macroeconomics #federalreserve #investing
