The LIRR strike really is a litmus test for who is and isn’t pro labor bc a lot of yall seem to think middle class workers shouldn’t be allowed to ask for cost of living increases since they’re not poor

@cysygy123 @zedsamcat Fraud requires deception. A penalty payment explicitly written into a CBA is just a contract. If MTA management was incompetent enough to agree to that work rule, blame the executives who signed it, not the workers enforcing it

@QueensCrapper The median compensation for LIRR employees with overtime & benefits is over $200,000 a year. They can f*ck off asking for more from taxpayers without agreeing to some of the same common sense work rules Metro North operates under.
