If you are in Nairobi and you are holding a nice phone... there are some ladies who, when they see you with it, they start shouting "mwizi!" so that you get beaten up as they take your phone and vanish! A lady tried this trick but the police arrived on time and caught her. She was told to enter the password but she said she couldn't remember it.
The guy who was the rightfully owner, was told to enter the password and he did it perfectly fine. Several men have been switched off due to this nonsense in CBD & this women always get away with such crimes. Such women need to be stoned or burnt to death.
That’s why it’s hard nowadays for men to help a woman when they hear her shouting that she’s being robbed. Unaenda kusaidia mtu kumbe malaya ako mboka. Gentlemen, normalize minding your business because daughters of Agrippina hawana huruma huku inje. Chesaa!!

A Nairobi man has narrated a bizarre encounter at International House after visiting a microfinance office to pick up his logbook from Platinum.
According to him, he first rushed to the washrooms after feeling pressed, only for a security guard to allegedly eject him from the premises for not informing him before heading to the restroom.

The Kamba community owes a lot to the Somali community. We have empowered many of them through job opportunities, not only in North Eastern Kenya but also in Somalia. The road they are blocking is very important for transportation and economic activities along the corridor. We need services, and they need employment, especially the people of Kitui where Kalonzo comes from. Similarly, The Somali community owes a lot to the Kamba community. They have hosted us in their land, allowed us to marry their girls, they buy our cows, milk, goats and camels. We use their roads, hospitals and schools. Without the Kamba community, Somalis in Garissa, Isiolo, Wajir and Mandera would be nothing. The two communities 100% depends on each other. I feel sorry for those who have lost their loved ones in both communities, but kindly let's stop these fights. Kamba and Somali Politicians are behind this. Kambas and Somalis are fighting on their behalf. Don't die or kill each other because of a politician.

Aska Ndatekago Orlale (32), a Namibian woman, successfully traced her paternal roots to Homa Bay County, Kenya, after a decade-long search using social media platforms like Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).
Aska is the daughter of the late Kenneth Cainan Orlale, a Kenyan who moved to Namibia around 1990 to teach English under a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) initiative. He passed away in 2002.
She traveled from Windhoek to Nairobi via Ethiopian Airlines to meet her paternal uncles, Dan Odhiambo Orlale and Martin Juma Orlale, among other relatives.
Aska visited her father's grave in Lambwe Valley, met her extended family, visited Lake Victoria, and engaged with local culture, including a traditional "matatu" night ride

President William Ruto has come under scrutiny after relaunching a stalled road project he had initially commissioned in 2018 while serving as Deputy President.
During his tour of the Gusii region, where he has spent the last four days, Ruto launched the same road—this time from the opposite end—renaming it the Keumbu–Gachuba–Kiendege–Kemera Road, eight years later.

The family of Ahmed Mohamed has broken their silence following his arrest after he ran toward President William Ruto during the Nyota Launching Program in Wajir County on 12th February 2026.
According to his sister, Ahmed was picked up from his home on Friday, 13th February, a day after the incident, and questioned in Wajir by local security officers alongside officers from Nairobi. His house was searched, and family members, including their mother, were called to the DCI office for questioning.
After two days of investigations, the officers reportedly informed him that they did not find any credible evidence suggesting he intended to harm the President. However, his phone was taken to Nairobi for further forensic examination. Despite this, Ahmed remains in custody at a Wajir police cell for 20 working days pending further investigations.
The family says he has now spent several days in detention without being presented before a court, raising serious concern about his wellbeing. They question why he continues to be held if no harmful intent was established.
They maintain that Ahmed had no intention whatsoever to harm or endanger anyone. According to them, his actions were driven by excitement and a genuine desire to greet the President in person, without fully considering security protocols.
The family is now appealing to the security agencies and to President William Ruto to intervene and help secure their son’s freedom.

In the final hours of a regime that had ruled through fear for decades, Nicolae Ceaușescu and his wife Elena Ceaușescu walked through a bleak military courtyard, their footsteps echoing against cold concrete walls. Only days earlier, he had stood on a balcony in Bucharest, expecting applause from the crowd below. Instead, he heard something he had not heard in 24 years of absolute rule: defiance.
The cheers he expected turned into shouts. The shouts turned into a roar. And that roar became a revolution.
For years, people across Romania had endured shortages, surveillance, and silence. Food was rationed. Electricity was cut. Speaking out meant risking imprisonment—or worse. But in December 1989, fear finally cracked. Demonstrations spread from city to city. The army began to waver. The system that once seemed immovable suddenly trembled.
The Ceaușescus fled the capital by helicopter, but their escape was short-lived. Captured and taken to a military base in Târgoviște, they faced a hastily assembled tribunal. The trial lasted less than an hour. Charges of corruption, crimes against the people, and abuse of power were read aloud in a stark room lit by harsh winter light. Nicolae refused to recognize the court. Elena shouted back at the judges. Outside, soldiers waited in silence.
Then came the sentence: death. Immediate.
On Christmas Day, 1989, the couple were led outside. Snow lay thin on the ground. Their hands were tied. Witnesses later said Nicolae tried to sing “The Internationale,” his voice shaking but defiant. Moments later, gunfire shattered the stillness.
With that volley, an era ended. The images would circle the world within hours—grainy, raw, impossible to forget. For some, it was justice. For others, a grim reminder of how power can rise, harden, and collapse all at once.
History rarely ends quietly. Sometimes it ends in a courtyard, in winter, with the echo of footsteps… and the sound of a system falling forever.

It was great meeting and interacting with Kenyans living and working in the UK yesterday at London.
Our Country has the best human capital in Africa and it was amazing listening to the many things Kenyans are doing abroad. Some are conquering in business while others are professionals both in Private and Public Sector.
The event that was organised and hosted by Kenyans led by Beulah was informative and inspiring. It was exciting reconnecting with Mr Wamwere, our KU classmate who is currently teaching in the UK.
Many Kenyans attended including Hon Njore J Kimani who is an elected Councillor for Farnharm Royal, Buckinghamshire, UK.
We are African and Africa is our Business..

A Catholic priest standing at the pulpit should speak the truth and nothing but the truth.
Criticise the government all you want, Father, but please get your facts right.
Yes, it is a World Bank facility. However, for Kenyan youth, it is structured as a grant, not a loan.
That “fictional youth” you referred to is, in fact, correct: no young person will be required to repay a single cent.
There was a training before the funds and they were taught that, the businesses they open will eventually be a source of taxes, for your information father those busineeses will also be part of the Loan repayment.
Truth is the foundation of meaningful criticism and the cornerstone of the Gospel itself.

Please please kenyans you have lied to President Ruto imetosha sasa. Let the man breath in and out and relax. He is just but a human being.
Take a look at below list:
For example, 112 aspirants for mp in nairobi county.Lets break it down;
Nairobi has 17 constituencies, therefore each constituency has 7 aspirants on uda atmost. After nomination only one will carry uda flag. Where will the other 6 go?
6 times 17 aspirants will just lose nomination and wait to be appointed in next government? Appointed where ? By who and why? A big open lie.
All capital cities in all worlds' democracies, nairobi included are always anti government.
Nairobi is 80 % anti government. They can increase their 20% to 30% if odm join.
So even the uda nominated aspirant in embakasi east has 0.00000007 chances of winning election on a uda ticket.
I have not said kibra , kasarani westlands, etc.
Which serious candidate can risk his hard earned money on such probability.
Bwana ruto don't finish the resources of our nation to conmen and women, in the name of winning next election.
Sio lazima. Kama ni ngumu wachana nayo. You can bounce back unopposed if circumstances prove you were right.
Verily verily i say unto you,
Only 10% of those who were at statehouse will vie on UDA in 2027 GE. The rest have already started deregistering as they left statehouse this morning.
Thank me later.
Kenya needs a true renaissance!
