Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Supporters, Today, I’m proud to announce my candidacy for re-election as your Mecklenburg County Commissioner in District 3. Serving this community has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Together, We can keep our community moving forward.

Just announced. I Will again join the National Association’s of Counties Board of Directors and serve as the chairman of this committee. I am Blessed to be able to continue to serve MECKLENBURG County in other ways.

At MGM and the National Harbor discussing workforce development and the challenges of getting employees to the area.

Money is available through the US Department of Labor Women’s Bureau to nonprofits to develop programs that hire women in non traditional jobs, defined as a job where women make up less than 25% of the workforce.

In DC to talk about workforce development and challenges we face, as well as to talk about how Mecklenburg County is addressing workforce demand issues.

Today is Realtors Care Day. A day when Realtors from across the community participate in service projects. I was happy to join a team working in my district. I am so appreciative. Hats off to Realtors! #RCD2023

Another Opioid settlement for NC. Another opioid lawsuit has been settled and the State of NC Will receive 600 million dollars over about 13 years. 85% of the funds will go directly to the Counties.
