🚨🚨🚨Trump: Based on the request of Pakistan and other Countries, the tremendous Military Success that we have had during the Campaign against the Country of Iran and, additionally, the fact that Great Progress has been made toward a Complete and Final Agreement with Representatives of Iran, we have mutually agreed that, while the Blockade will remain in full force and effect, Project Freedom (The Movement of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz) will be paused for a short period of time to see whether or not the Agreement can be finalized and signed

Pete Hegseth falsely testified to both the House and the Senate last week that troops were deployed to voting places in 15 states under Joe Biden in 2024. Not only were all National Guard activations for the 2024 election ordered by individual states rather than Biden, all 11 states that responded to my inquiries told me that *zero troops* were sent to voting places. The Pentagon declined to comment. Fact check: cnn.com/2026/05/04/pol…

A reporter reminded President Trump yesterday that he’d said the night prior that the US might be better off not making a deal with Iran. Trump said “I didn’t say that.” He’d said it the night prior. On camera. cnn.com/2026/05/03/pol…

What in the actual false flag is Trey Yingst, the Israeli Fox News war reporter, doing directing the K9 handler at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner? The same K9 handler who talked to the “shooter” right after this, just before he burst through the open door.

Given the news today that Spirit Airlines is shuttering and thousands of people are losing their jobs, I think we should honestly assess whether the Garland DoJ stopping the JetBlue merger with Spirit Airlines was the right call. Perhaps it was but any analysis must consider as part of the equation the loss to so many families ro decide.

To counter the US blockade, Tehran is reportedly considering unconventional tools including mine-carrying dolphins: "Iranian officials said Tehran could use previously unused weapons to attack U.S. warships, from submarines to mine-carrying dolphins." "Some 44 commercial vessels working for Iran have been ordered to turn around or return to port, U.S. Central Command, which oversees American military operations in the Middle East, said Thursday. There is no evidence any Iranian oil cargo has crossed the U.S. blockade and reached Chinese customers or other buyers, according to Kpler, a commodities-data company." wsj.com/world/middle-e…

Trump did have a first-term initiative to cut the price of insulin, but Biden’s subsequent initiative was much more extensive and secure. Trump: Got $35 insulin for some seniors in Medicare Part D with a voluntary pilot program for pharma firms. Biden: Through legislation, got $35 insulin for all seniors in Medicare Parts D and B with a mandatory program requiring coverage of more products. Full fact check from 2024: cnn.com/2024/06/14/pol…

Lol, no, Variety. Fair use isn’t just for when licensing is impossible; it’s for when you’re engaged in criticism, commentary, and storytelling with a new transformative purpose. Netflix knew where to find this licensor; they didn’t license because they were within their rights.

“Come on, come on, no one can see you try.” Poucos versos resumem tão bem a modernidade digital quanto este: “Trying to look like you don’t try.” “That sugarcane that tasted good, that’s cinnamon, that’s Hollywood.” Imitation of Life entende que a performance não elimina a vulnerabilidade; apenas a reveste. A vida interior virou conteúdo, a dor virou estética, a alegria virou prova pública. Somos ensinados o tempo inteiro a parecer inteiros, mesmo quando estamos apenas obedecendo ao refrão invisível: “no one can see you cry.” Talvez seja exatamente aí que resida a grandeza silenciosa de Imitation of Life: ela percebeu cedo demais que a humanidade moderna não deixaria de sentir, apenas aprenderia a sentir diante da câmera. A festa continua. Os zooms continuam. A encenação continua. Créditos do vídeo: R.E.M.
