@Randeep_Sisodia That's why it is called "Party fund"...abstracted and delinked from a specific party...used by all parties in TN😁no cases will be there against DMK or ADMK....even if there are cases there won't be any outcome!

“Party fund” is exactly the reason why DMK & ADMK never shared power with any other party ever since they have been in governance so their ugly secret remained between the two of them… This institutionalised corruption by both parties is exactly the reason why they lost the elections… But the point is why TVK is only talking about it but not investigating all departments and bringing the culprits (both dmk & admk) to book? Both parties brazenly indulged in wrong doings so there will be enough proofs to catch hold of them!

98% he read mechanically, no modulations, no emotions, from someone else's script....2% talk was trying to speak with emotions but had no evidence...if DMK has indeed done corruption the real intention of Vijay will be to have cases hauled against them....they will keep talking like this for the coming months but there will be ZERO action on DMK Ministers on corruption!

40 days in Government as Minister and she cannot say 4 company names that they met or spoke for investments....and she scrambles for information from a document that someone had prepared for her...it is funny and weird logic that is put forward as "you did not ask the previous Govt questions why you are asking now"...People thought they voted for "change"...lack of competency in current Govt cannot be justified by comparing the incompetence of the past...TN will lose out a lot to Andhra and Telengana now...

Funny how young ministers face relentless scrutiny for being “inexperienced,” while many experienced ministers were rarely questioned this hard. Hold everyone to the same standard. 🤷🏻‍♂️ This is bad from the TN media.

This is "change"! Metrics should drive claims of change in Tamil Nadu, not slogans and rhetoric. If a government claims progress, it should publish measurable outcomes: jobs created, investments realized, learning outcomes, healthcare indicators, water quality, crime rates, project completion timelines and fiscal health. Change that cannot be measured is often just political marketing. #TVK #Change #Tamilnadu

In the decade preceding @myogiadityanath’s tenure, UP suffered 47,509 cases of Encephalitis leading to 8,373 infant deaths. 34 million vaccinations and 21 million tap water connections later, comes the news that for more than 2 years running, UP has reported 0 deaths. Stunning.

After Shri @rajnathsingh ji whom I adore, praised " Modi Idli" in front of 30000 people in Salem, This guy Annamalai couldn't tolerate Brand Modi being promoted. Within few days of this speech, this guy sent his hounds to tarnish my image, abuse , character assassinate and body shame me. Me promoting 🎯Modi Insurance ( Ayushman Bharat) 🎯Modi Kits ( Grocery kits to poor during COVID) 🎯Food distribution on Behalf of Modi ji during COVID 🎯Modi Idli (4 idlis for Rs 10 with sambar in arecanut plates) as immediate post COVID relief 🎯Over a hundred street corner meetings to promote Brand Modi was eye sore for him He didn't want anyone to promote Brand Modi in TN, he only wanted Brand Annamalai to be promoted. Since then he and his gang have done relentless attacks on my character for the past 4+ years. I refused to promote Brand Annamalai and resigned. Rest is history and propaganda I once again thank @narendramodi ji and @rajnathsingh ji for standing by me, amidst the relentless and never seen before smear campaign to tarnish my reputation 🙏🙏🙏

In Tamilnadu we are preached by some people that 'Hindus have to manage Hindu temples' and government should handover the ancient temples built by the Cholas and Pallavas (along with the vast tracts of land and gold that they own) to Hindus. The people who are building this narrative make ordinary Hindus believe that administration will go into the hands of honest, devout Hindus. What will actually happen is, a Trust will be formed. The Private Trust will consist of the rich and the powerful (politicians, big businessmen). The land, jewels and the idols that belong to the temple are more at risk as the questioning power of ordinary citizens will not exist under such a setup. Under the current system a government can be voted out and Temple management can be reformed. Private Trusts will make the entire system opaque from public scrutiny and we may be left with no option to get rid of corrupt people managing these Trusts.

The Supreme Court has already interpreted Articles 25 and 26 on multiple occasions. In the landmark Shirur Mutt judgment (1954), a 7-judge Constitution Bench led by Chief Justice M.C. Mahajan, with Justice B.K. Mukherjea delivering the judgment, held that while the State may regulate the secular administration of religious institutions, religious denominations have a constitutional right under Article 26 to manage their own religious affairs. The Supreme Court reaffirmed this principle in the Chidambaram Nataraja Temple judgment on 6 January 2014, holding that government takeover of a temple cannot be indefinite. State intervention may be justified to remedy proven mismanagement, but once the issue is corrected, administration must be returned to the religious denomination. Permanent control is not what Articles 25 and 26 contemplate.

Article 25 & 26 allow regulation, not permanent government management. The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that regulation and takeover are not the same thing. If State control is the solution, why have temple land disputes, mismanagement and court interventions continued for decades under HR&CE? And if government management of religious institutions is such a good model, why is it not applied equally to churches and mosques? A secular State should be a regulator, not a permanent manager. If a “temporary” takeover lasts for decades, it is no longer regulation. It is nationalization in slow motion - precisely the point Subramanian Swamy has been making for years. The Constitution gave governments a referee’s whistle, not ownership of the stadium😁😁😁 You might be a "liberal" but it doesn't give you freedom to "liberally interpret" constitution the way you want 😁

A secular government’s role is to regulate temples, not run them. Tamil Nadu’s HR&CE controls over 44,000 temples, yet issues such as temple land encroachments, missing records, idol thefts, under-valued leases and repeated temple property recovery drives continue to surface. If government control is the solution, why do these problems persist decade after decade? There is also a clear conflict of interest when parties that openly promote atheist or anti-religious ideologies control temple administration, lands, revenues and assets. The real question is simple: If state control is necessary to prevent corruption in Hindu temples, why is the same model not applied to churches, mosques and other religious institutions? A truly secular government should audit, regulate and prosecute wrongdoing equally, not selectively manage one religion’s places of worship.

@vspartha @laksr_tn In Hindu kingship a king ( or caste panchayat) had a role in the temple. In democratic india with no kings, it is the elected government. Churches and mosques have historically been able to function without a sovereign. There are institutional frameworks for administering them.

Read the post. Let me remind you that many things India are corrupt. Our temples are as corrupt as our EB department, Schools, Hospitals, Military procurement, National Testing Agency etc. Privitising temples is not a solution. Having it under the govt allows public scrutiny and questioning. There is also an audit system that public assets are subjected too. Without having a better alternative, just sloganeering and dismantling the current system of management will make the situation worse.
