@TomScibelli It’s not like that dude. After the 45 minutes they add some more for all the time lost during the match, if during that extension, the game is paused for 2 minutes, the ref will let it go 2 minutes over. And also, if a team is attacking, is common to let the guys finish it off.

I like how in soccer the refs can just say “Yeah I know the game is technically over but this is exciting so we’ll let them play a little bit more”
