@MarathonArchive That is exactly why I say the community is killing their own game. Marathon has never been close to killing arc. Yet when the sponsor streams happened this is what was being spread. Those numbers lasted 1 hour and then marathon never saw those numbers ever again. Not even half 💀

The only thing ppl can show you that may have you thinking that, is when the sponsor streams happened and marathon had had like 150K viewers and arc had like 20k viewers. But once the sponsor streams was over we never saw those numbers

According SteamDB and PC digital sales tracker Marathon was refunded at least 500k times confirming what emerged during the server-slam. Marathon manages to excel in at least one thing: being the most refunded game of 2026.

@YourAverageGump @AirwingMarine It quite literally does tell u how a game performs. If the game has 150K on release n then 12k ever since then yeah that literally tells you how it’s preforming. It’s like top 18 on psn (not good) and like top 32 on Xbox. So if u say it’s thriving then ur ego is just too big.

Hey Marathon lovers, Do your mentals a favor and stop trying to convince people who just want to hate Marathon to hate it to see any reason or logic. Anyone who plays D2 knows when a new season drops and a raid or dungeon is coming that we get a week or two to level and loot grind to be ready. That’s what they are doing with Cryo Archive and you’re never going to convince people who are being purposely obtuse that this isn’t the case. It’s ALL in bad faith to say the game is unfinished when this has been Bungie’s model in the past. Stop arguing with people who don’t care and just want to be mad. They refuse to see reason.

Yeah I can confidently say Marathon is great game and there’s a lot of morons who should’ve gave this game a chance but instead are missing out on a truly great FPS. Outpost is so good, and crazy to think there’s still 2 more zones and Cryo Archive to explore. Along with so much story, contracts, and upgrades to flesh out. You’re not gonna kill a game that’s this good just by a forced hate mob sorry.
