@MehdiHacks If you get one, step 1: Update the firmware. The firmware shipped on most units (at least in first batch) had issues. I have not done any measured testing with my pair of Pros, but I know they work :) I should A/B compare One to Pro but day job has been very busy

Have any of you bought HackRF Pro? Is there a review out there already? I'm thinking of getting one, but would love to read other reviews too.

@MehdiHacks I often use my magnetic loop RX antenna on 10 MHz and below. However, it doesn’t perform as well on the higher frequencies of HF. It’s excellent at reducing noise and fading. I use it in a small TV rotator to null signals.

People who don't have space for big shortwave radio antennas: I am using MLA-30+ magnetic loop and I'm super happy with it! It's small (60cm diameter), cheap, and has so far worked great for me. Good for small balconies.

Helping test some recent HackRF issues was a great excuse to script up some automated testing using HackRF tools like hackrf_transfer, with a series of scpi commands using lxi-tools to automate and test and measure the device. I have done some general test equipment automation before, but it was nice to fully automate multiple pieces of software together.
