He’s paid more than £23m and should be on an effective rate of 45% tax. He’s claiming to pay less than 31%. His income is from the duchy, a state asset we allow him to take money from. He doesn’t provide full accounts of tax paid, and he’s pays voluntarily.

Calling it a £7m tax bill is misleading when it’s not even a legal requirement. It’s a voluntary contribution from a system that doesn’t disclose everything! Can you imagine if Paul the Plumber from Plymouth said "I've worked out what I earned and il kinda pay something" to @HMRCgovuk And least Paul has actually EARNED some pounds. Prince William collected £2.5m rent (from taxpayers) for rat-infested Dartmoor prison. The Duchy owns multi-billion property, runs businesses, pays no corporation & capital gains tax OR INHERITANCE tax. He didn't actually "earn" any of this money!! He pays no national insurance and his finances are actually a secret!!
