@BefuddledBuddle The deltek stack is very far behind in terms of technical architecture. The backbones of the ERP system have not been updated since the earlier 2000s. They have continued to see layoffs across that vertical. In other places I certainly agree with your conclusion 100%

If I'm looking to go super in depth for my first deep dive I like gathering all the sources and throwing them in Gemini Notebook. The one change they made was really nice where you can leverage the sources you input but also leverage Gemini models to search the internet and back up your research. Before it was just based on the sources you gave it. I've connected Claude to my Robinhood acc through the API and I really like using Opus to test ideas and give me tips on my acc and management style. It has helped me tons in learning new ways to generate income (covered calls) and also tons of different ways at looking at the market and technical set ups. I'm not a technical based trader but it helps to get its opinion on charts for me.

I changed from doing research with Gemini to working with Perplexity AI. The hourly token limit on Gemini really restricted me to doing only 1 deep dive a day. It looks like with Perplexity, I can do multiple. I can't assess the quality yet though, I will read the first articles this weekend.

Interesting point you make on the ISA round. I didn't think about that cost basis. And to your point they wouldn't sell for such a small gain after getting in at the series E. I really wish they would split out Rev like you mentioned. I think it would help them create a much better story about being the leader in the Maritime vertical. I've tried to do completive analysis on others competing in the space but I haven't found anyone quite as deep as $HAWK in the maritime vertical. $SPIR is close but spread across a lot of verticals. Unseenlabs is private and French based. The recent $LMT was very positive but was a bit shocked at the press release they put together. I felt like they could have made a better impact on that if they put something better together. The number 1 thing that has my conviction level high is Golden Dome. I have to believe they will play a critical role across that whole spectrum. The Mr Dewalt angle is interesting as well. To your point the people involved in the company are of extremely high quality. He is a proven operator.

Yes I agree. I’d think q2 is going to be exceptional for the maritime segment. I know they don’t say how much each segment makes, but they must’ve been tracking ships daily I agree. I agree space is oversold. Lots to look forward to, their last funding round wasn’t long ago. It was during the ISA acquisition, so a lot of people are likely in the 10s cost basis, so maybe no selling pressure from the lock up. Mr DeWalt 10% owner is a stud and I think insiders know what they’re doing. Recent testing with LMT worked great, can’t wait for golden dome contracts. I think ISA changes everything and accelerates growth.

Makes sense and I agree with you. While I do think the additional supply creates more selling pressure I'm not sure how much more selling can happen to your point. The space theme already seems very oversold after the recent correction but as you mentioned no one knows for sure. I plan to hold off on adding for now. If we slip into the 16s/15s ill try to load up there but would like to build a nice base in the 18/19/20 area. A few months ago I was waiting for it to drop to the low 20s after IPOing at 26 and going up to 35. I jumped as soon as it got there but it was a bit too soon. As you mentioned in the article id be very surprised if they missed Q2 rev given all of the recent conflict w Iran. Id have to imagine they are being using every day in the Strait. I really like the ISA acquisition as we have both highlighted that in our articles and it seems like the media doesn't care at all or is not picking up on the efficiencies they will gain after fully syncing together. Obviously I don’t know for sure, with that being said; The IPO lock up expires soon, so more shares being available could create some selling pressure. I think short term it moves with the sector, so if space continues to sell off they’ll continue to get hit. Just Monday it hit 17.xx I think. I personally plan on adding closer to the earnings report regardless of price, assuming it doesn’t go under 15$. Also will add after the earnings report in case of sell off. I think they do very well in 2027 and 2028.
