Today was my last day at Uber. Gonna take a much needed break then get back to it! Open to new roles on dope teams building dope products (open to contract work as well).

@ItsJeffJB @zendadddy I think one of the biggest challenges (for me) is around native mobile interactions 🫠

@zendadddy Experienced this far more 6 months ago than recent. Have a long running prototype that has become easier to work with as I’ve added skills and refined how I approach iterating on it. But I also jump to figma for quick sketches to bring back in vs always starting in code.

I hate to admit it, but sometimes I spent hours wrestling with Cursor on prototypes I could have built in Figma in half the time. The first 5 mins are epic - I'm moving so quickly. But as the proto gets more complex, something breaks, then I spend the afternoon trying to undo and fix it. Anyone else feeling this? Some kinda weird AI sunk cost or perceived productivity thing happening. There's gotta be a word for it.

@zendadddy Definitely fell into that workflow this week with a tool I was building. It was great to see it working (overall) - but so many of the complex parts of it took majority of the day to get it right 😂
