@SamueILFC Frimpong was a poor signing. He's not strong enough to play right back in the PL and his crossing is not good enough for him to be played as a winger. Assuming we get a new manager then I wouldn't be shocked to see Frimpong offloaded in the summer

@LFCApproved Frimpong may be a right back...but not in the PL, for which he is far too lightweight. Unfortunately a very poorly thought through signing imo. But none of our players look better under Slot, so until we get a new coach/manager it's hard to say who really needs replacing.

I like Frimpong, but he’s not a right-back. I like Ibou, but he’s a liability and out of contract. I like Gravenberch, but he’s not a 6 or starter. I love Mo, he’s a club legend but, he’s slowing down. Issue, the RIGHT side.

@WastefulBlimp Having been a fan for some 45 years or so I can honestly say this is the most boring football I have witnessed us play over such a prolonged period. It's like Slot has purposefully decided to try and suck all the fun out of our game and unfortunately he has largely succeeded.

@frankveryfrank @YazzLFC It's clear the players aren't exactly running through doors for Slot, whilst his defensive mindset is not the Liverpool way and we make for a dire watch. Sticking with someone who isn't working just because 'we don't sack managers' isn't a sign of strength but of weakness.

Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards deserve just as much blame as Arne Slot. It’s absolutely pathetic that they didn’t have the backbone to sack him around the New Year when there was still a chance to salvage the season. That lack of decisiveness has cost us dearly. No leadership, no accountability just a complete failure from the people running the club. Absolute Shambles.

I'd bring on Jones for Gravenberch and Ngumoah for Gakpo at half time. Jones will show for the ball a lot more and sprint a lot while Gravenberch is on a tightrope with his yellow card. Ngumoah for obvious reasons - add some excitement into a dull slow team performance.

@TouchlineX He's pretty much right. The lack of players who can dribble past opponents nowadays is very limited. Instead teams are packed with players who are athletes first and footballers second. Yeah they can run all game, but barely have any memorable moments in the game.

@Xenceee He’s a poor game but was instrumental in us becoming prem League champs. One bad games doesn’t make you a bad player. He’ll come good again & people forget how young he is. He will play is part in success soon enough.

Btw Gravenberch can’t be starting games for us next season, we desperately need a new DM

@NotoriousLFC Although I want Slot gone, I'm not sure Alonso is the right choice as, like Amorim, he's wedded to a back 3, that doesn't seem to work in the PL.

Why wait until the end of the season when Stevie Wonder can see we are missing top 5 now? Get Alonso in, give him time this season and then he will know what they need in the Summer.

FWIW I don’t think Slot will be sacked any time soon. I think there will be a feeling of collective responsibility for the results this season and therefore a collective responsibility to sort it out. Would imagine they are already talking about the summer and what is needed

@Liverpool_React @WeAreLiv3rpool There's a balancing act because for me a key reason why it took us 30 years to win a league title is because we have been overly loyal. Yeah loyalty to a point is a good thing, but if it goes too far then it becomes a hindrance.

@WeAreLiv3rpool I don’t want us turning into Man Utd sacking a manager every year or every other year if they don’t finish 1/2……won the league and now sit 4th and people want him sacked. We were 12th at this point in a season under Klopp and no one was crying Klopp out.

@liverbirdjen The fact he hasn't been offered a contract extension at this point speaks volumes. I doubt those at the top will allow a manager/coach to go into his final season. Imo unless we win, or go very far (at least) in the CL, he's likely being replaced in the summer.
