Uganda Airlines is at a pivotal moment. In this piece, I explore what the recent developments really signal and why the quiet gravity of Ethiopian Airlines may shape its future more than we think. =>> open.substack.com/pub/dereknseko…

I am interested in Robert Kateera piloting credentials. Let's see why among the most qualified pilots at Uganda Airlines he was the one in this meeting?

@shaaka777 @TheMutaD Wow thats a quick turn around. I live within the uganda community and i can tell you that the flight disruptions sunk UR credibility and reputation to the lowest. Lets hope they can redeem themselves. I know they good at attracting people back by offering 3 suitscase at 23k each

@nikita_helene Demand follows supply. Thats a basic principle. The demand for their flights was there in the first place but UR was unable to offer ontime scheduled flights due to aircraft down in lagos and 1 CRJ down if thats not the case then there wouldnt have been all this online ruckus.

@TheMutaD @shaaka777 Definitely. UR management has been asking for new aircraft for a few years but the 2 share holders have been dragging their feet to release the funds. In away these disruptions have been a blessing in disguise as it shows theres demand for their services and justifys purchase
