@BillDunblane @80_mcswan The "British" parliament works with precedents. Since the last referendum, which was given because of an SNP majority & has not been achieved by a party again. Having a majority of indy MSPs since then was ignored by Westminster & will be again even with a indy super majority.

I’ve been trying to find a way to clearly explain/describe the Holyrood Voting system (D’Hondt) - kind of in one or two lines so here goes: How’s this? Vote: Same Indy Party Constituency + List = 1 You want & 1 You DEF don’t ie: 1 Indy + 1 Yoon

@IndyAsapScot @elainewebster21 How, before I retired my constituency was Glasgow Central I voted SNP 1 Green 2 because I knew they would win the constituency. Dumfriesshire, however, is extremely Conservative and to early to say the SNP will take it hence SNP 1&2. I treat each constituency differently.

@IndyAsapScot What about the other way round? Other indy supporter not voting SNP 1 but voting for other indy party 2. A lot of the SNP seats are marginal, so they might require the second votes.
