If West Ham get relegated, they will need cash. If Manchester United can put together a deal with plenty up front, they can get Mateus Fernandes for around £55m-£60m. No brainer deal to move fast on. Last summer they set a benchmark with the Cunha fee, which was tricky when it came to signing Bryan Mbeumo. It is something they will need to be mindful of when making deals for CMs this summer.
