This is not ‘modesty’. This is erasing women of their dignity and stripping them of their humanity!

@MonPicazo @_Hector_Mtz I think the stigma comes from such a long time of people concealing female nipples, so that now seeing human anatomy is shocking for many people. If the human body was more visible in more spaces, I think the stigma would fade faster than it already is.

When you teach someone that a sexual response is automatic and irresistible, why would he try to resist it? Men can indeed master their urges. They just have to understand that they can. If they don’t think they can do it, then (as far as I’ve seen in my life) they tend not to try as hard, if they try at all.

Someone told me that modesty for women doesn't have to do with clothing but with braided hair and jewelry and things like that. I don't deny that it applies to those things, but I don't believe it's limited to those things. How would you respond?
