🔥🚨DEVELOPING: White people who are moving into South Central Los Angeles has been getting filmed by locals due them having a hard time believing that the one of the most urban parts of America is now being.’gentrified’ for decades South Central has been dominated by the Black and Hispanic community, I lived in South Central for a summer in 2017, that place is so different from the rest of the U.S. that spotting a White woman with a baby stroller is news.

@WallStreetApes @vannschaffner I’ve said a few times that it’s likely that people traveling to these protests from other states are registering to vote during the event. Now we know.

American Airlines has 77 regional planes sitting in storage because they can't find pilots to fly them. The expected U.S. pilot shortfall in 2026 is 24,000. Training a new commercial pilot takes 2-3 years minimum and costs six figures. So American found a loophole. Partner with a bus company, brand the bus "American Eagle," sell the seat on aa.com with a flight number, route passengers through TSA, let them pick a seat, check bags, earn AAdvantage miles. The entire experience is designed to feel like a flight in every way except the part where you leave the ground. The economics are staggering. A regional jet on a 90-mile route needs two pilots ($100K+ each), a flight attendant, jet fuel, FAA maintenance requirements, and an aircraft that costs $20-30 million. The Landline bus needs one driver and a highway. South Bend to Chicago O'Hare is 90 miles. That route doesn't make money with a regional jet anymore. It barely made money before the pilot shortage. The bus lets American keep selling connections through O'Hare to every destination in its network without operating a single flight. This is what the pilot shortage actually looks like. Not cancelled routes. Not smaller airports going dark. The airline just quietly reclassified a bus as a flight and kept charging accordingly. The TikTok exposing it has 13 million views because the passenger cleared security, sat at a gate, and watched her luggage get loaded onto a coach before it merged onto the interstate. The word "bus" appears once during booking in small text. Google Flights lists it with a tiny bus icon. The airline says customers are "transparently informed." 72% of U.S. airports have already lost an average of 25% of their flights to the shortage, and Landline is expanding, not shrinking. Philadelphia, Chicago, and now five regional airports are on the bus network. American Airlines is solving a $28,000-per-pilot-shortfall crisis by removing the pilot from the equation entirely. The bus is the product now. The flight number is just packaging.

If you haven’t heard, and even if you have, Jimmy Kimmel said this about Markwayne Mullin, former Senator from Oklahoma, and our newest Secretary of Homeland Security: “We have a plumber now protecting us from terrorism.” Apparently, there has been some backlash. Plumbers were offended, obviously, as were parents of plumbers, spouses of plumbers, children of plumbers, and millions of people who have had a plumber show up when they needed one. Comedians were also offended, (the funny ones, anyway,) along with a surprising number of terrorists - especially those with access to hot and cold running water. However, in spite of the ensuing kerfuffle, @jimmykimmel doubled down. “I’m not upset that the head of Homeland Security was a plumber,” he said, “I’m upset that he isn’t still a plumber." He further elucidated by adding, "I wouldn't put a plumber in charge of Homeland Security for the same reason I wouldn't call a five-star general to pull a rat out of my toilet, OK? We all have our areas of expertise.” Being offended is always a choice, and I don’t choose to be offended by a joke, even one that comes at the expense of the skilled tradespeople my foundation tries to elevate. But I am a tad butt hurt by the suggestion that skilled workers should never evolve into something new, and that competence is somehow limited to one vocation. Obviously, expertise and skill are important. If I need a new kidney, I’d prefer a doctor do the surgery, not a late-night talk show host. But if the doctor in question used to host a talk show, why would I hold that against him? Ten years ago, during one of the presidential debates, @MarcoRubio answered a workforce-related question by arguing that America needed to get shop class back into high schools. He concluded by saying, “What our country needs are more welders and fewer philosophers.” A lot of people on this page commented that Rubio and I were singing from the same hymnal, but in fact, we weren’t. At least not entirely. Because I don’t think the current shortage of welders has anything to do with an overabundance of philosophers. In fact, I think it’s a mistake to promote one vocation at the expense of the other. What we really need in this country, are more welders who can talk intelligently about Aristotle, and more philosophers who can run an even bead. More Generals, in other words, who can fix their own toilets, and more plumbers who can hold a powerful government job. This is what Mullin did. He was a private citizen who mastered an essential skill and then turned that skill into a multi-million-dollar company that employed a lot of people and served a lot of customers. That gave him the freedom to do other things with his life, including a career in public service which got him into Congress, where he’s spent the last eleven years doing whatever Congressmen do. Now, he has a very consequential position in the Cabinet of the current administration. Is that not the embodiment of the American Dream? I get that Jimmy Kimmel might have a problem with Mullin’s politics, but what possible objection could he have about the trajectory of his career, or his desire to do more than one thing with his life? The only sensible thing to do in the wake of a moment this tone deaf, is remind America that the skills gap is wide, and getting wider. The shortage of skilled tradespeople is now headline news and closing it is nothing less than a matter of national security. This year, my foundation has set aside $10 million dollars to help train the next generation of plumbers, and lots of other essential workers. I'm talking about hundreds of thousands of AI-proof, six figure jobs that don't require a four-year degree, waiting to be filled. The money is currently available to anyone who wants to master a useful skill at mikeroweworks.org. Apply today. As for those of you genuinely offended by Kimmel's comments, consider expressing your disappointment with a modest donation to mikeroweWORKS. Our work ethic scholarship is making a real difference, and your money will be well spent, I promise. The donate button is big and red and hard to miss, at mikeroweworks.org I’d love to chat but I’ve gotta pull a rat out of my toilet…

Residents that had their homes burn down by the Eaton Fire during the Pacific Palisades fires are now receiving water bills from the city One resident hasn’t been there in a year, the property is so burned the meter doesn’t even exist anymore, but they’re getting bills “This is ridiculous. How can they charge us for something that we don't have? We haven't used water in over a year — this is something that is outrageous” “So you don't even have a meter still on this property?” “No, there's nothing. It was, it was right here on the side of the house” Yet they’re being sent bills…..

My mayor @spencerpratt with the greatest campaign music video I have ever seen! This song is now stuck in my head! For those who don’t know me, I literally got into politics by becoming the homeless vigilante of Los Angeles, cleaning up the streets and getting rid of bums because my mayor did nothing. I did not want to give up on this city. I will do whatever I can to get Spencer elected and make Los Angeles glam again.

It’s time to pass the SAVE America Act The lobbyists won’t clamor for it—because it makes them no money The news-media won’t reward anyone for championing it—because it advances no radical, leftist cause But Americans want it—overwhelmingly—with good reason Let’s do it!

🚨 JUST RELEASED: Follow the Money Behind the No Kings Rally 🚨 DataRepublican has launched an interactive, open-source map showing how your tax dollars flow to organizations involved in the No Kings rally. 🔍 I tracked funding from federal sources to final recipients, prioritizing direct paths (not via DAFs) whenever possible. 👉 IMPORTANT: most paths still went through Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)—the black box of the nonprofit world. Unfortunately, it's a common and opaque funding structure that deserves scrutiny. 💥 Explore it for yourself: Click on "Federal Grant Flow" for any NoKings organization to open any visual flowchart, tracing dollars from origin to destination. 🖼️ Also, you can save any graph as an SVG and take it wherever you need. 📌 I'll keep updating the database as more EINs come in. Got a group to investigate? Send it my email address with an EIN. 🧠 Let's shine a light on influence laundering. Link below 👇

The Senate must reconvene Immediately A staggering 260,000 DHS employees and their families have gone without pay for more than a month This is not a time for any Senate recess—let alone an unusually long one Nor was it a good time to recess a month ago—at the beginning of the DHS shutdown—when the Senate recessed for ten days, ignoring my stern warnings about the dire consequences that decision would produce As it turns out, I was right; what I warned would happen has happened To double down on the same mistake now—and recess for not just for one week but for two—would be unforgivable Bad things happen when we make bad decisions And bad decisions are far more likely to occur when scheduling decisions are prompted more by a desire to let senators leave Washington—whether for international travel or just to go home—than to achieve favorable policy outcomes
